Jennie and Lisa are sitting talking to a marriage counsellor.

Lisa: ok let me go first.

Lisa sits back in her seat with a relaxed smile on her face.

Lisa: we don't really need to be here. We've been married for 4 years.

Jennie rolls her eyes and chuckles.

Jennie: 5.

Lisa nods and continues talking.

Lisa: 4/5 years. So this is just like a check up for us. Chance to poke around the engine maybe change the oil. Replace a seal or 2. Yeah that's it.

Lisa explains to the counsellor as Jennie had a clam expression on her face and nods.

Counsellor: ok let's pop the hood open then.

They both smile.

Counsellor: on a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you guys as a couple?

The counsellor asks.

Jennie: 8

Jennie answers straight away.

Lisa: wait... 10 being perfectly happy and 1 meaning it's a total piece of shit or...

The counsellor shakes his head at Lisa who looks at him and then glances at Jennie.

Counsellor: just answer out of instinct, ok.

Lisa nods and turns to Jennie.

Lisa: ready?

Jennie nods

Jennie: ready.

They both answer.

Jennie and Lisa: 8.

The counsellor writes down on his notes.

Counsellor: how often do you have sex?

Both Jennie and Lisa look emotionless at the counsellor.

Jennie: I don't understand the question?

Jennie understood but she didn't see why they have to answer that.

Lisa: yeah I'm confused is this a 1 to 10 question again?

Jennie talks calmly

Jennie: 1 being very little or 1 meaning nothing? Because really zero will actually be nothing.

The counsellor sigh as Jennie and Lisa were trying to dodge the question.

Counsellor: ok what about this week?

Lisa thinks about it.

Lisa: including the weekend.

The counsellor nods

Counsellor: sure.

Jennie and Lisa answer the question and they move on to the next question.

Counsellor: tell me how you guys first met?

Lisa smiles

Lisa: somehwhere in Hawaii 4 years ago.

Jennie calmly shakes her head.

Jennie: 5.

Lisa nods

Lisa; right 4 or 5 years ago...

4 or 5 years ago... somewhere in Hawaii...

Lisa was sitting at the bar.

Lisa: one Whiskey please.
