   'I wonder how my aunt will react...' Gon thought quietly, biting his nails out of slight nervousness. This wasn't like him, to be nervous, he was the bold, 'always ready for an adventure type' as a kid, but things have changed, ever since he met his dad.

"I'm gonna introduce you to some people, that is, after your old enough."

"Woah! really?!" gon exclaimed.

"Yeah, come find me here once your 18, we can go see 'em then, 'kay?"

Gons face lit up, even more, nodding almost violently, "yeah, yeah okay!"

The boat stopped, blowing its horn, it had arrived at whale island. He smiled at the sight, getting less nervous, knowing he was finally home. 

... ~ : D ~...

He hopped off the boat, taking his backpack with him, he waved as the boat left, turning and heading out.  

"Gon!" he heard a familiar voice yell and before he knew it he was being hugged, well, squeezed. "I'm so glad you made it back okay..! I thought you'd never come back!"

"aunt mito-.. " gon was at a loss of words, he felt a sense of guilt creep inside of him for leaving her here so long, despite saying he'd only be gone for a few days. He nodded, " yeah, I missed you too! " he smiled.

She whipped her eyes, Taking gons hand and leading him back home. Gon followed along, smiling all the way...
