It was morning, very early morning, how did George know? It was completely dark outside his window, none of the shimmering lights from earlier were shining, he took the opportunity to swim out, the guards outside his room were in deep sleep, easy to get past. He grinned wickedly as he swam further down the hall, not noticing the head guard right in front of him. George let out a low yelp, rubbing his head before meeting eyes with Technoblade. The dolphin immediately paled, backing away, "Oh sir! Sorry I was just going for a late night swim..." he let out a sigh, looking at the guard again, "You're going to tell my father aren't you?" he murmured slumping slightly.

Techno shrugged, " I shouldn't report everything to Andrius, besides you've been cooped up all week, you need time to yourself too, go on." he replied, moving aside to let George pass. "Oh my god thank you Techno, I don't know how to repay you." The guard chuckled, "Take down the government that rules now, that's how." George took it as a joke and laughed, "I'll see how well I can do that." With that he swam away, leaving the head guard to watch him with dark eyes.

George had troubles maneuvering in the dark abyss but after a few bumps into the coral and rocks, he finally found the hideaway, as he liked to call it. The dolphin settled down, it was quite dark in the cave so he lifted his hands up and conjured up some small little lights to lighten it all up, he looked up and realized there was a roof over the hideaway, he swam up to it and placed the little light magic on the top, going further to add more.

The area was now lit up, small fish swam up to him, attracted to the lights above. George chuckled as he settled back down into the sand, letting out a small yawn leaning against the rocky walls of the hideaway. He must've fallen asleep, because he opened his eyes to familiar green eyes, and sharp smile. "Hi!" Dream exclaimed happily, George smiled back, yawning loudly as he responded, "Good morning Dream..." his voice was still laced with tiredness.

The shark giggled, "Looks like someone didn't get enough rest!" He poked, lightly booping the dolphins nose. George took a moment to realize Dream was on top of his tail, their tails were close to...

He backed away quickly, laughing nervously, "Sorry it's just, you know..." the dolphin gestured at his tail, and then intertwined his hands, "In our culture, intertwining tails means, a lot." Dream widened his eyes, "Oh! I uh. Sorry I didn't know..." he murmured sheepishly, then silence enveloped them. Dream coughed out and pointed up to the ceiling of the hideaway, "So uh, did you do those?"

George looked up and say the light magic he had done, "Yeah, it was a spell..." he jumped at the loud growl that Dream let out, the blond immediately covered his own mouth, eyes wide with fear, "I'm so sorry! I uh, my kind, sharks don't like magic, so out of instinct... I growled, I'm sorry," he blurted out, making George shake his head, "It just startled me that's all, would you mind, telling me why your kind is against magic?" Dream pondered this, he wanted to tell him so bad

But it was like something was holding him back, he couldn't say it even if he wanted to, so he just shook his head. George hummed in response, rubbing the sharks back, "That's fine, if it does hurt that much to tell take your time with it, I'm sorry for whatever magic did to you to cause you to not like it... it must be hard..." the shark looked at the sand, 'You have no idea...' he thought somberly.

Dream leaned into George's touch a little bit, his tail thumping against the sand, making the dolphin laugh. "What?" The Shark genuinely asked, George just shook his head, "You just, remind me of one of those animals from the scrolls about the surface, a dog I think it's called, they wag their tails when they are happy..." Dream looked away in embarrassment, his tail thumping faster, "I'm not that happy..." he whispered, making George laugh harder

"Your tail says otherwise."

"No it doesn't, I'm mad, it's like a cats tail,"

"Mhm, so If I do this??"
