4: the village of Eastwood

Techno's pov 🐷
It was harder to go around now because the dirt turned into mud. This made our clothes and put horses dirty. Carl being the brat he was didn't want to walk anywhere! Carl naturally hated getting his hooves wet. Before I knew it after a few hours Carl stayed in place, refusing to move.

"Oh come on Carl" I urged "Just an hour or two until we make it to the enchanted forest. Then we can make a pit stop at the town!"

Carl didn't move a bit. I looked up at Amber, she surprisingly wasn't annoyed but instead was happy. Wait, she was laughing!

I guess Amber had a knack for pain.

"Hey techno!" Amber said through a snicker "there's a village near by that we can stay at for now. Ya know until Carl's ready."

At this rate we were never going to find Tommy. We should have been half way through the enchanted forest by now!

"Yeah okay we can stop there for now." I said.

Annoying horse. I tugged Carl by his collar and made our was to the town of Eastwood village.

We were standing at the entrance of the village.
"So..." Amber said looking up at me "you're gonna go in first cuz I don't want to."
"Are you scared!"
"What no! Are you calling me weak?" Amber asked somewhat provoked
"No no, I would never insult the amazing Amber Collins!"

Third person
Amber and Techno walked into the village. It was beautiful. Lush grass sprang up from under the little wood path they were walking on and all the homes were tiny cabins made of oak. Amber and Techno walked for some time until they can upon a villager.

"Hello! Are you guys new around here?" The girl asked. She had reddish hair that reached past her shoulders and freckles spotting her face.

"Yes we're looking for a place to stay for the Night." Techno said. The girl nodded and led us over to a little inn. Techno payed for the room and they made their way up.

The room was pretty small. It had flower wallpaper that was ripping, an old red leather couch, a table and a bedroom.

The two walking into the room noticing there was only one bed.
"I can sleep on the couch if ya want." Techno asked, scratching the back of his neck. Amber just nodded and techno made his way out the room.

It was eight and Amber rested her head on the bed. It was a long day of horse riding and Amber's legs felt sore. She groaned as she tossed the blanket over her.

It was twelve and Amber still hadn't gotten any sleep. The room as stuffy, she forgot to change and she felt a little guilty.

Amber's pov🍄
I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about tommy. Sleeping in this bed was time we could spend looking for tommy and that's what made me feel so bad. Tommy was out all by himself probably hurt and lonely.

I got up and started pacing around the room. How are we gonna get Tommy in time? This whole thing stressed me out so I decided to get a drink of water.

I made my way out the room as silently as possible over to the fridge. The place came with some water bottles. I found one and opened it up. It made my throat feel less dry.

"Hello"

I jumped up nearly spilling water everywhere. I looked around and saw techno sitting up in the couch, his hair all over the place.

"Ya can't sleep?" He asked, rubbing his eye with the back of his hand.

"No not really" I admitted "I'm just worried about tommy! I mean what if we don't find him and he's hurt and forced to do things against his will."

"C'mere then" Techno said, patting a spot next to him.

I hesitantly walked over to him and sat down. The room was quite and we just sat there a couple minutes, techno nodding off every once in awhile.

"I should get going" I said sitting up from the couch. Techno groaned.

"No it's mkay I don't mind, really." Techno grabbed my arm and I sat back down. 

There's person pov
Amber and Techno sat on the couch with the blanket draped over them. Amber leaned her head on technos shoulders as he just grabbed a lock of her hair and started playing with it. Techno sighed as he let his hand rest down to his leg. He laid down on the couch pulling the blanket up to his chin.

"I'm gonna go to bed, you can join me here if ya want. Whatever makes you comfortable." Techno said as she turned to the side not facing amber, he curled up into a ball and started falling asleep.

Amber decided to stay with techno. She laid down next to him trying not to make any physical contact just in case if techno wasn't okay with that.

Techno turned over to the side facing amber and put his arms over her waist and started to hug her. Amber chuckled a bit and turned over and hugged techno as well.

This was gonna be a long trip...
