Waiting for the biggest results of your life takes forever, it seems like a lifetime away, except it isn’t it’s a minute away. Nervously pacing up and down the corridor, twitching and turning at every sound that was made, it was time. It was time to face that piece of paper that told me if I got into Uni or not. My whole life had been building up to this day, to pursue a career in Nursing. I’d studied so hard for this, every day spent in my bedroom reading and taking in all the information just for one exam which would independently determine my career. As the door opened, a shiver ran down my spine. I stepped into the room, picked up the envelope and teared it open. There it was, the result I always wanted, I’d passed! I got an A* in Biology and two A’s in Physics and Chemistry. That was the proudest and best moment of my life; I’d achieved what I aimed for and now nothing was going to stop me from achieving Nursing. Well, so I thought.
Amy Wilson wasn’t your stereotypical college student, she didn’t go out drinking and partying, she didn’t really socialise at all. She was quite wealthy and lived in the middle of nowhere really, surrounded by the countryside. However, when she became friends with Josie after college, she began to change. Every now and then she’d go out hours on end, drinking and partying, meeting boys and getting into trouble without her parents knowing. That’s where everything went wrong for Amy, she began socialising with lads. Especially Arran Lomas; he had tattoos and piercings, failed all his A levels, went out drinking and taking drugs most nights and slept around a lot. That’s when Amy made the biggest mistake of her life and became involved with him. She started drinking more, going out more, she got piercings and got involved in drugs. Completely out of their faces, Amy and Arran slept together not once but many times over the space of a fortnight. Realising what she had done, Amy distanced herself from everyone and began to focus on University. Unfortunately, that didn’t go to plan. As expected Amy started to feel nauseous and started to get back pains every morning, completely oblivious to what was happening she carried on with her life until her sister noticed what was happening to her body. She was pregnant.
