Josie POV

I was walking to my class, books in hand. It's the last class of the day, then my sister has cheer practice. Sometimes I help out, just because I have to wait for her at the end of the day. I guess I just don't wanna be bored for 2 hours. Sometimes they practice inside due to the weather. Unfortunately, today is one of those days.

I take my usual seat, in the front. Don't worry, I'm not, like, a teachers pet or anything. I'm actually pretty quiet. I stay to myself. No one bothers me, and I don't bother them. Actually, that's a lie. Sometimes I'll be minding my business, and some jocks will say things. Not mean things, though. It's mostly sexual things. It makes me really uncomfortable, and even though I'm quiet, I stand my ground. Sometimes I'll just ignore them.

I'm not a 'loser', though. Or at least I don't think so. The teacher walks in a few minutes later, and starts class. She calls roll, and when she says my name, I say "Here", like always. My sister, Lizzie, isn't in the class, which makes it even more boring, but I can deal. Actually, none of my friends are in this class. It's a poetry class, so I wouldn't expect them to be here.

The class is very uneventful, and slow for some reason. When the bell rings, I pack my things up, then walk out. I was walking to my locker, when I heard my name being called. I turn around and see Lizzie trying to catch up to me. I slow down, so she can.

Josie: "What's up, Liz?"

Lizzie: "Just on my way to the gym. How was class?"

Josie: "Boring. Per usual"

Lizzie: "Are you helping out today?"

Josie: "Uh, yea, I was planning on it"

Lizzie: "Ok, well I'll see you in the gym"

I give her a small smile, and she goes in a different direction. I open my locker, and put my things away. I was going towards the gym, but one of Lizzie's squad mates asked me to grab the water bottles from the locker room. She told me it was in the boys locker room, so I made my way there. I didn't wanna walk in on anyone changing, so I slowly opened the door.

I heard people in there, so I was gonna walk away, but the coach says "What are you doing in here?". "I was told to get the water bottles for the cheerleaders" I tell him, a bit nervous. "Ok. Do you know where they are?" he asks. "Yes, sir" I respond. He motions for me to go get them, so I do. I was walking towards where they are. The football players were getting ready for practice, and putting their jerseys on.

I was getting looks, but I ignore them and continue looking for the water bottles. I find them empty in a storage closet? I was filling them up when someone walks in. I immediately turn around. "Josie Saltzman" one of the players say, small smirk on his face. "What do you want, Connor?" I ask. "I just want you to pass on a little message for me. Tell your sister I saw her in her little skirt. She looked hot" he tells me.

"You're disgusting" I say, making a disgusted face. "Only in bed. I can show you better than I can tell you, though" he says. "Fuck you, weirdo" I tell him. "I don't blame you. I mean, who wouldn't wanna fuck me" he replies, weird smirk still on plastered on his face. If I could just slap it off, I would. "Connor. Leave her alone" a woman's voice says. Connor was standing in front of her, so I couldn't see her.

He holds his hands up in defense, then walks away. "He wasn't giving you too much trouble, was he?" she asks. The girl has auburn hair, and light blue eyes. She's also really short, but in a cute way. "Not more than he usually does" I tell her. "Don't listen to him. He's just jealous" she says. She has an adorable smile on her face. "Jealous of what?" I ask, a little lost.

"Jealous of how beautiful you are. I know I'd be. Anyways, to let you in on a little secret..." she says, then comes a bit closer. She puts her mouth right next to my ear, then whispers "He still wets the bed". I feel her lips lightly graze my ear when she pulls away. It kinda tickled, but I don't say anything. "Wait, really?" I ask, kinda surprised. She nods, then says "You didn't hear it from me, though". "Mikaelson, you coming?" we hear the coach yell.

"I gotta get going. It was nice meeting you, though. Sorry, what's your name?" she asks. "It's Josie" I tell her. She smiles again. "Nice meeting you, Josie" she says in a soft voice. "Nice meeting you too, Mikaelson" I respond. She chuckles, walking away. I was about to thank her for the compliment, but she was already out of earshot.

I finished filling the bottles, then brought them to the gym. The girls were already practicing. "What took you so long?" Lizzie asks. "I was talking to someone" I tell her, setting the bottles down, and taking a seat on the bleachers. Lizzie is kind of a germaphobe, so she has her own bottle of water. She takes a few gulps, then goes back to practicing.

~Time Skip~

Practice is almost over. The football players just got done, and I know this because a lot of them have girlfriends on the cheer squad, so they come watch or wait for them. I don't pay attention to them. I just watch the girls practice. They're actually really good. Wasn't much longer before their coach told them practice was over.

I gather my things. Well, it's just my backpack. I was waiting on Lizzie, who was talking to one of the other cheer leaders. I believe the girl's name is Maya. Their conversation gets interrupted when none other than the auburn haired girl walks up to them. I gotta admit, she's really cute. The voice only adds to it. When she speaks, a British accent is audible. It's barely there, but it's there.

She says something to Maya, then she says something to Lizzie, who nods, and they start walking away. I walk over to Lizzie. "Hey, ready to go?" she asks. I give her a nod. "Ok. Just let me grab my things" she tells me. She grabs her bag, and water bottle, then we make our way out. "You wanna drive, or should I?" I ask. "Uh, you can" she says. I nod, and grab the keys out of my bag.

"Wait up, Saltzman" someone says. I turn around to see Maya running over to us. She goes over to Lizzie's side, then says "So, I was thinking, since we need to get that move down, you could come to my house to work on it. Or I can come to yours, either works". "Sure. Here, put your number in my phone" Lizzie responds. She gives her the phone, and she gives it back a minute or so later.

"I'll see you later" Maya says, walking back over to where she came from. Lizzie and I get in the car, and I drive us home.

"Mom, we're home" Lizzie yells when we walk in. "I'm in the kitchen" she responds. Both of us walk to the kitchen, and see mom making dinner. She gives us a smile, then asks how our day was. We both tell her that is was good, and she smiles. "So, Stefan is joining us for dinner. I hope you guys don't mind" she tells us. "Of course not, mom" I say, happy smile on my face.

I've always liked Stefan. Moms only been 'seeing' him for a few months, but he's a really nice guy. Caroline isn't out biological mom, but she's still our mom. My biological mother died giving birth to us. I guess my dad just went crazy after that. He started drinking more and started passing out in bars. He's never really been in our life. Except for the occasional times when he either feels guilty about it, or needs something.

Either way, it doesn't bother me. Honestly, I couldn't care less about what he needs or how he feels. Anyways, after dinner, I do my usual night routine. Shower, do my skin care, then either write or play my ukulele until I get tired.
