Chapter 01: The Nursery

3rd POV
The nursery was beautiful but standing there was someone who brought both girls to tears.

"Mama! Aunt Yelena!" Both girls cried out and wobbled over to their mother and aunt who happily embraced them. Their stepmother and ladies smiled happily at the touching reunion. The girls were then seated and everyone left them to catch up.

Natasha told her daughters about her now official relationship with Bruce and Yelena complained about moving to America and working for SHEILD. Anya talked about the kings and Katya talked about Leah and Paul. It felt like minutes but was actually hours before the twins realized that it was dinner time.

"Go back to your room. I'll be making macaroni" Yelena stated "Oh, no you don't! They need some dumpling soup!" Natasha argued "What?! Your crazy! Macaroni is perfect comfort food for pregnancy!" "You say that macaroni is perfect for everything! The dumplings are packed with proteins and vitamins!" The two sisters bickered on their way out.

Anya and Katya made their way back to their room where their sheets had been changed and their ladies awaited them with a cup of peppermint tea and warm blood awaited them. They sat on the bed as they were bombarded with questions.

"Was it nice catching up with your mother and aunt?" -Jane

"Where did they go?"-Esme

"Did you like the nursery?" -Rosalie

"We tried to keep it gender neutral for you!" -Corin

Anya and Katya wanted to keep the genders anonymous. Genders didn't matter as long as the babies were healthy.

The twins chuckled before Anya said "Yes, it was nice catching up with them. They're making us dinner Aunt Yelena wanted to make macaroni while mom wants to make dumpling soup, someone should probably go check on them" Esme nodded and left "The nursery is beautiful. Thank you all for setting it up and decorating it" they all smiled at Anya.

Since being mates to the kings Anya has not only become more vocal, but also more confident. The kings brought out the best in Anya and made her so much more happier than before. Anya was this bright ray of sunshine, but she also had this warmth that compelled you to listen to her and do as she says.

It was obvious that she'd be a great queen someday.

Katya on the other hand had grown calmer and more patient since meeting Paul and Leah. Katya felt as if she didn't have to fight anymore, or be angry. It was a weight off her shoulders that had been drowning her for awhile now. Katya could finally relax knowing that she wasn't alone.

Esme, Yelana, and Natasha came in with four tiny bowls of food. The twins wolfed down the food happily before Natasha asked the question that everyone had been waiting for "Do you have any names picked out yet?"

The twins exchanged looks before shifting uncomfortably. Anya was due any time now but still struggled with names "Well for girls I was thinking Natalia, Charlotte, and Kaitlyn, but for boys I was throwing around ideas and thought Romeo, Mercurio, and Benvolio" they all blinked "Like from Romeo and Juliet?" Heidi asked Anya nodded bashfully.

They all nodded as well before Yelena asked "What about you Katya?" Katya bit her lip and said "Well I was playing around with Aunt Yelena and Leah's names and came up with Leana" Yelena beamed at her niece and nodded happily earning a smile from Katya "What about a boy?" Natasha asked and Katya flushed as she said "Well, I thinking about his grandfather's Terrance, Harry, Charlie, and Bruce" Natasha smiled when Katya included her boyfriend.

"I thought about combining them to but I only came up with Harlie Truce" Katya cringed as she thought that they wouldn't like it. The women all thought on the names and Chelsea said "Truce doesn't sound right, but Harlie's nice" Katya smiled and nodded. They threw around more ideas bringing the twins godfather Billy into it coming up with names like

- Tilly (Terrance and Billy)
-Brance (Terrance and Bruce)
- Brully (Billy and Bruce)

It was laughable and the night became peaceful as the twins drifted off to sleep.
