Are we friends ????????

Chapter 8

     Time passed and it was Febuary and it was almost valentines day. And Jacky wanted to get something special for Alex,something unforgetable. So Jacky kept wondering what to give him for valentines.
    As soon as she got the perfect idea she ran to the store and bought a sketchbook,colored paper and stikers. She ran to her room as soon as she got home and started her “project."
     She had made a scrapbook for Alex of pictures of them together,holding hands and hugging. She also put some love quotes and some memories she had so he could also and always remember.
     It was friday 13 and valentines was going to be saturday. As soon as she walked in the gym she saw Alex sitting there in the bleachers with a big red envelope and she got up the bleachers and alex handed Jacky the envelope and a long red skinny bag.
    Jacky shyly with a smile accepted it and handed alex his gift in a toystory bag. Alex told Jacky to open her gift and inside the envelope there was a big card . Inside the bag there was a mug with a little zebra a rose that lights up and a chocolate bar.
    She had also made some cookies in shape of a heart and one of them had their date on it . She also decided to gi e something to his little sister who was 7 years old .She decorated a mason jar and put some candy in it .She also gave her a little red purse and a headband with a blue zebraprint bow.
     That saturday there was going to be a valentines dance at their church. It was going to be western theme. And she wanted to look the best just for Alex . She was anxious and nervous at the same time.
   "What about if i meet his parents and i dont know what to say ???" she asked to her self while getting ready. She had put on a black dress long from behind and short from the front. She also wore some cowgirl boots color brown ,she had her hair down and curled.
   As soon as she felt ready she tried to relax and remain calm and to think positive.  Now she was acctualy exided to finally meet his parents and little sister.
    Jacky and her family got to the dance and she was anxious because it was her 1st dance with her 1st boyfriend. It was going to be her magical night.So her couzin Cesar saw him and told her "aye your boyfriend is here."
   Jacky didnt want to turn around because the place was pretty big thoe and she thought people were gonna be wondering why is she looking around. Later on Alex walked up to Jacky with his friend .
   "I like how you dressed... you look really pretty."Alex said to Jacky with a big smile while looking at her . Jacky shyly blushed and quietly said "thank you." Alex still had the biv smile on his face with those gorgeous dimples.
   "Um...my dad wants to meet you ..." Alex said scratching the back of his head.Jacky with a smile said "sure",they walked together holding hands to Alexs table wich was in the other side.
   "This is the acctualy the first time i orecent my girlfriend to my parents." Alex said holding Jackys hand tighter . Jacky turned around and saw her parents danceing and she saw her parents looking at her. She quikly turned around and kept on walking .
     "Your nervous?" he said in a kinda worried voice . Jacky looked at him with a smile and said "no." As soon as they got to his table ,Jacky noticed he weited for a moment and then he tapped his dad in the shoulder and said "dad ... this is my girlfriend" handing jackys hand to his dad.
   His dad slowly got up from his chair and shook Jackys hand and said his name " this is Alexs mom... and his little sister" he said while pointing to Alexs mom and sister. Jacky walked tk the other side of the table and said hi to them and shook hands .
   Jacky loved Alex little sister she was so adorable and looked so inosent.
