"Ghost!!" The butler shouted up the stairs.
"Your mother wishes to see you"
Ghost sighs heavily before standing up from his work desk.
"Why must she be so overbearing and request a butler to call me?" He grumbles.
On his way down the hall he bumps into his twin sister, Xena, she was holding a test tube full of red liquid.
"Careful!! You almost made me spill" she hissed "my frock is white, and I cannot afford to stain it" she rolled her eyes and carried on down the hall.
"That girl, always being so moody." Ghost thought. As he headed down the stairs he could hear the soft buzz of two peoples voices, three including his mothers.
"This can only end well" he whispers as he opens the grand mahogany doors.
"Hello mother."
"Ghost! Darling I must speak with you about your fathers passing" his mother belted in a raspy British accent. Not even slightly sad. After all, his father was very rich, and his mother before their marriage, was not.
"These two men are here from his attorney office, dear, they wish to speak with you about his will." She smirked her sharp teeth, she knows what was left to Ghost, and expects he will give it to her.

Meanwhile Xena is upstairs, in the attic as per usual, conducting strange experiments.
"Why must everyone always bump into me!" She ridiculed at her twins earlier mistake. She brings the thin glass tube closer to her eyes so she can see if any impurities made it into the liquid.
It was thick, and viscous, too viscous to be blood, it smelt like fresh moss and rain. A very peculiar scent indeed. She was testing to see what said liquid could possibly be considering it was found near her fathers remains.
"You didn't really die naturally did you. Father?" She whispered into the dusty atmosphere.
"Xena!" A gruff voice shouted, startling her. She quickly put the tube in a holder and composed herself.
"Yes? Who is it" she called back.
Silence.
"Well? Who is it?"
Silence.
"For heavens sake!" She huffed as she stomped over to the door, swinging it open practically pulling it off it's rusty hinges.
There was no one there, no one had called for her. She was the only one upstairs in the attic.
"Ghost I know it's you playing tricks on me and it's not funny!" She screamed into the darkness of the attic hallway slamming the heavy door.

"Mr Ghost. As you may know we are here to discuss your fathers will and his wishes to you." The first man addressed. He was well dressed in a navy suit, and had a moustache, very clearly waxed into style. He held a dark brown cane accented with a golden tigers head.
Ghost clears his throat "yes I am aware of that." He examined the man's demeanour and he didn't like what vibes he was getting.
"He's here to help mother get what was passed to me no doubt" he thought.
The second man coughed. "Mr Ghost, we've got to bring to light what your father has left you. And what you may want to do with it."
Ghost stayed silent, he did not like these men at all, they smiled a little too wide, and didn't seem one bit solemn for his father, even though they were 'well acquainted'.
The first man licked his lips with a deep inhale "So, let's get started shall we" he rustles some papers around while the other man smiles at his widowed mother. Ghost glares.
"Ah here we are. It is stated that your father, Sir Apollo, has left you a rather large fortune, including his mansion, and all of his prized possessions" he practically spat the words out as if angry it wasn't his mother getting it all.
"Darling what ever are you going to do with all this money and the mansion? You're only 19, still a child" Adeline, his mother, cried in a bittersweet voice.
Ghost ignored her and turned back to the men "did my father put in any specific wishes for how this should be used?" He held out his hand, gesturing that he see the papers.
The man reluctantly handed them to Ghost, obviously irritated.
"Ah, so it says here that father wanted me specifically to be the man of the house. To take on his company. And look after my family." He looks up to see his mother looking defeated.
"I will respect his wishes and take everything on. His life line will be my new legacy!" He declared, glaring at his mother.
"Good day gentlemen." He shoots back before spinning on his heel to exit the room. "And, mother, don't even think about it" he remarked.
