A NEW DAY BEGAN as So-ri sat down across her tired grandmother. So-ri had decided to not attend school as her grandmother was going to start a new session of chemo.

As days passed, they seemed to get harder for Grandmother Hye-won. As time passed, she became more visibly frail and sad by everything going on. So-ri felt incapable, felt hopeless as she knew she could do nothing but only hope and pray for her grandmother.

Now she watched as nurses prepared her grandmother for the next chemo treatment. "How are you feeling?" So-ri asked. Her grandmother who had changed to a sitting position, looked frail and weak compared to the strong woman she was before. "I should be asking you that, I can tell you haven't been sleeping well and don't act as if everything is fine. You know you can tell me anything, okay?" said her grandma with a knowing look. At that moment, So-ri felt like a little girl again and as she was about to answer her grandma's worries, the doctor came in.

"Good morning Ms. Choi, how are you feeling?" the doctor asked calmly "I feel fine doctor, I'm sure you've met my granddaughter So-ri" her grandmother said proudly showing her granddaughter off. "I sure have, you have a wonderful granddaughter Ms. Choi" the doctor said with a chuckle.

"The nurses have prepared you for the first session, if you have any questions please ask away now" the doctor said with a friendly smile. "How long is the session going to be?" So-ri asked the doctor with a slight change in tone. "According to our program, it should take one hour, two at most...but do not worry your grandma is strong and will do wonderfully." the doctor answered and put down his clipboard.

A couple of minutes went by and more nurses came in the room to take her grandma to another room, So-ri held her grandma's hand until they made her step away for her grandmother to start the process.

STRESS FILLED GORYA as for the last few days, she had to find a way to make money fast.

Her father was scammed and with that put her whole family in debt. She didn't blame him of course but she wished he could've been more careful. Gorya tried her hardest to earn money, looking for jobs leaving her restless for school.

One night, Gorya found a job. The job was being a bargirl to sit and entertain the guests and while it wasn't the best job and Gorya had her concerns it was something and it made easy money. She was told to serve drinks, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable as she was surrounded by older men as they coddled young bargirls.

"No harassing! No groping!" Gorya stated bluntly at the old man she accompanied. "Ooh~ a tough girl... I like tough girls." Gorya looked at the man in disgust, trying her best to remain calm and not hit the disgusting man. She sighed and did what she was told, be there and accompany the man.
