Chapter 4 - Confessions

"Niall seriously. Please. Put down the gun."

I was crouched in the corner, heart beating like a rabbit on steroids.

"NEVER."

He pulled the trigger and I ducked my head in between my knees, letting the bullet meet the wall.

"You are so dead."

I got up and chased Niall down the stairs and onto the couch.

"BAM.BAM.BAM."

I shouted as I shot Niall with the nerf gun.

"Stop!"

He shielded his face with his nerf gun and laughed.

"You made me do it."

I curled up on the couch next to him, being held with his tight embrace, and feeling his heartbeat against my forehead.

"You shot me twice before that! I had to!"

He tried to defend himself, flailing his hands in the air.

"Okay dumbass."

I slapped his chest and got up.

"I'm sweaty. "

I lifted my arms up in the air and dropped the gun.

"Ew."

Niall showed off his braces and pushed me a little bit. I grabbed his hand and lugged him upstairs.

"Sit."

I instructed him and pointed to a couch in the corner of my room.

"I will be right back."

I walked into my closet and grabbed some high waisted peach shorts, and a floral t shirt. I matched that with some white converse and a grey cardigan. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and left the closet.

"Come on."

I grabbed Niall's hand and pulled him off the couch, leading him down the stairs.

"Where are we going exactly?"

He asked, confused.

"Out in public. We've been together for like two weeks now. I don't really care if other people know about us."

I flashed a smile towards him and grabbed my aviators off the counter.

"Let's get pizza."

Niall smiled.

"I'm cool with that. But you're paying."

I laughed.

"Anything you want, princess."

He pulled me in for a hug.

"Niall?"

"Mhm?"

"Did you just call me princess?"

"Indeed I did."

I got up on my tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek.

"I could get used to that."

We stepped out the door and I made sure everyone saw that we were holding hands. He made me giggle along the 10 minute walk to Domino's.

"That was fun."

Niall said, lightly pushing me back and forth on the swings.

"I haven't had dominos in forever."

I added.

I couldn't quite see his face but I could tell he was smiling.

"Do you want to play a game?"

I smirked and I looked back at him.

"Um.. What.. Kind of game?"

He stopped pushing the swing.

"Stop being so dirty Niall. I wanted to play never have I ever."

"Ohhhh. Okay."

"Um. Never have I everrrr, dated someone as beautiful as this girl named Ebony."

Niall smiled. My cheeks turned crimson red and I looked up at him.

"Unfair."

I laughed at him.

"Never have I ever had sex."

I leaned back on the bench and watched Niall sit in the grass and waited for His response. He leaned forward and took a sip if his monster.

"SERIOUSLY? WHEN?"

I smiled, hoping to get an answer out of him.

"Sophomore year."

He said, casually.

"Allison Jones's party. Some guy invited me as a joke, thinking I wouldn't show up. But I did. I drank too much and so did Allison. And all I remember after that is waking up next to her naked, with a terrible headache."

I sat there with a blank expression on my face.

"Woah. Uhm."

I scratched the back of my head. It was weird knowing that Niall, MY, Niall wasn't a virgin. Like. What.

"Moving on. Never have I ever dated someone with a thick Irish accent like yours. "

I half smiled. I waited for him to take a sip of his drink, knowing that he came from Ireland. He just sat there

"Niall. you're from Ireland."

"Ebony. You're my first girlfriend."

He said, mocking my tone.

"Really?"

"Really."

"Well for someone who's never had a girl before sure knows how to treat one."

I walked over to him and planted a kiss on his forehead before sitting next to him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we sat in silence.
