Hermione and Ginny... Who? (Severus Snape's Daughters)

Chapter One

"Ms Granger, Ms Weasley, see me after class." The monotonous potions professor told two of his best students. They exchange a frightened glance before nodding, both silently hoping they hadn't messed up or worse, failed. Though their professor, if anyone were to watch him, seemed to be having an internal debate against himself. He knew however, he had to do it. Dumbledores portrait had told him it was time they found out. He just worried for how they would react. Surely, Hermione would be fine with it, but he wasn't so sure about Ginevra. On second thoughts, though according to what his godson told him about their third year, he should be a bit more worried about Hermione.

The wait until the end of class was agonisingly slow to the girls and Snape. For once in her life Hermione couldnt focus on her work and Ginny wasnt thinking anything at all. The bell rang faintly in the distance, or so it sounded. The class began to silently pack up watching the two girls that remained perfectly still wondering what on Earth they could have done wrong. Two goody-two-shoes in trouble with the most feared professor in the school. Two girls, one that hid from death-eaters for a year and one who secretly reinitiated the D.A, both without being caught, it was a mystery.

Severus Snape still hadn't any idea on what to say so simply said, "I think you might want to look at these," handing them to envelopes. Hermione and Ginny just looked at the yellowed parchment in front of them before bursting into question mode. "How long have you known", "We look nothing alike", "How is this even possible", "Are you serious", and others. Ginny ended up dragging a shocked Hermione out of the room with some excuse about classes. Hermione, who was trying to think rationally told Ginny, "We could have at least heard him out, he is probably still shocked at this new information himself." To which Ginny responded with a roll of the eyes and a disappointed shake of the head.
