Shiyon's POV

"And that ends our lecture for today. Don't forget about the assignments due in three days." the professor leaves with a grin.

"Speaking of assignments, I thought we were going to Aya's house for the history assignment?" I ask my friends who turned jumpy in their seats.

"Huh? What history assignment?"
"I-I didn't hear about that."

Strange. "It was announced yesterday, what do you mean?"

"Oh well umm hehe." Soyeon looks apologetic at me and Aya avoids my gaze.

"Wait, don't tell me you already done it?" I gasped.

"...we passed it already." Aya mumbles.

"Without me?! Who am I supposed to group with?" This is absurd! Top friend betrayals! "This sort of betrayal will never be forgotten!"

"So dramatic~ You know, you could definitely go partner up with Hyunjin for this assignment." Soyeon teases me, wiggling her finger in front of my face.

"Really? So you did this on purpose?"

She froze and Aya looked away again.

"Huh, thought so. Fine, I'll just go and ask him." I stand up and gather my stuff. "By the way, I was thinking of holding a small party my Shiwo's birthday. Maybe you could bake the cake for me?"

"Ooohh! I'd be honoured! What flavor?" Soyeon quickly pulls out her notes and pen.

"Chocolate and Oreos. That kid is nuts about it."

"Sure! I'll bake the best birthday cake for your brother!"

In the Art and Music Department hall, I knock on the Meeting Room 03 door. This is where Hyunjin and his friends gather.

The door then opens, revealing Seungmin.
"Hi."

"Oh, Hello Shiyon. Hyunjin just went out to get some drinks. Come in."

"Thanks." I go inside and got greeted by the boys, Felix, Changbin, and Jisung. "Hi guys."

"Shiyon! Great timing!" Jisung jumps out of his seat and runs to me. "Please give me some advice about dating."

"What?" I stop in surprise. Me? Giving dating advices? I don't really know much.

"He's been at it all day."- Seungmin.

"He says he's lovestruck~" Changbin mocks.

"Hey, shut up. You're just jealous that a girl confessed to me the other day. BUT HELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Jisung panics pulling on his hair. "I've never dated before! All I know are cringy anime lines!"

"Don't worry, Jisung. Just be yourself. You ought to be with someone who can compliment both your personalities. Ask her about her about her interests and see where you guys click." I blurted out unknowingly. I don't really know how it just came out.

Maybe seeing his panicking expression made me automatically try and ease him.

"Really? That makes much sense! Unlike these guys."-Jisung

"Why? What's wrong with our advices?"-Changbin

"Let's be honest, we give crappy advices man. Shiyon's a girl, its a fact that she'll know better."-Felix

"We're back~ Oh! Shiyon." Hyunjin comes in the room dancing with plastic bags in his hands till he saw me. "No wonder I was itching to come back faster. You came to see me~~"

He puts down the drinks on the table and comes to me for a hug.

"Ewwww!" -Changbin
"Get a room."-Seungmin
"I also want hugsss."-Felix
"My eyes!"- Jisung

"Anyway, I was here to ask if you've already done the History assignment?"

"Not yet, why?" he pulls away and fixes my clothes that he wrinkled from the hug.

"I haven't too, maybe we could do it together? The deadline is tomorrow."

His eyes got wider and a grin grows on his face. "Are we going on a study date?!"

Cute.

"You can say that." I gave in.

He cheers and turns to his friends. "See that! See that guys?! Ha! My girlfriend trusts me so much that she's even making me her partner for an assigment."

The boys rolled there eyes and shrugged. I jumoed when Hyunjin grabbed my shoulders.

"Kim Shiyon YN. I won't disappoint you. I will do my outmost best to perfect our assignment." he said with great determination in his eyes.

*At Shiyon's house*

"I CAN'T! THIS IS SO BORING! SERIOUSLY-" Hyunjin cried, dropping his head on the table. "I didn't know we had to go through all these books just for a timeline!"

"Oh believe me, these books have put me to sleep and past deadlines LOTS of times." I pat his head, soft fluffy hair. What shampoo does he even use to make his hair all so silky like this? What does he do?

"I like that." he suddenly says and takes my hand, keeping it on his head. "Keep petting it."

Rush, rushing tingles and fast moving waves that makes your insides tight. UGH! Why?! WHY IS THIS SO CUTE!?

My hand trembled a little from the excitement but I continued, brushing my fingers through his hair like a comb. How could I possibly wash my hands after this?

"Hmm, so are you giving up on the assignment or not?" I tease him.

He lifts his head up and pouts at me. "Of course not, how could I let you do all the work? But..."

"But?"

"Its really boring..."

I laugh, he's so cute. "It is isn't it."

"Damn, you're a research major right? You must be doing this all the time for projects and related literature. How do you put up with this?"

"Coffee, a goal of living well, and more coffee. Oh and Shiwo." my hand, as it brushed on his hair, reached his ear where a piercing can be found.

"Now that I think about it, you don't talk about your parents much." he lays his cheek on his open book as he looked up at me from beside him.

"Well, they're not around much. They're always away and busy. But you know what? I look up to them despite their lack in good parenting. Its not easy to build a family. Especially when there are nosey and stubborn in-laws."

"Ohh that type of family problem."

"Yeahh~"
