Marzia ran away crying her eyes out and I sat by kate, cleaning up the glass wounds. She was still knocked out but I didn't want to take her to A and E because people will pay attention to me, not her. She had been asleep for a while so I decided to go to the shop around the corner.

Kate's POV

My eyes squinted open once again and I don't even know what happened. My heart was telling me to call for help but my gut screamed, RUN! I try to stand up and I suddenly hear Felix, once again calling my name. He runs towards me and I run too. I try to get away from the person attempting to save me. Run, run! Not fast enough! Keep running!

Marzia's POV

I ran away from my own mistakes, no apologies and some would say regrets but I did regret it. My guilt was unbearable. I was unbearable.

I had a cold heart and was literally freezing. My shirt ripped whilst hitting Felix and I was only wearing a skirt on my legs. The people who knew what I did snarled with disgust, some cursed and others called 999. I ran. Scared. Alone. I deserved it.

Okay, well they're all running. Anyway, this book has a song ; riptide by Vance joy. The reason being, it inspired me through a lot of this and I think it just relates.
