RING!
RING!
I woke up to the annoying ringing of my alarm. Goddess, whoever made these things shouldn't have even existed. I got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom. After a nice hot shower, I rushed to my closet. What to wear, what to wear? I finally decided on a pair of skinny jeans, a tank top and my favourite leather jacket. I got started on accessories. I chose to go with a black bag with spikes. I put on a black choker and did my makeup in a natural style.
I rushed out of my room, down the stairs of the packhouse and went straight to the kitchen for breakfast. I dug into my hefty serving of pancakes with whipped cream and honey, my fruit smoothie partially forgotten where I had left it to chill in the fridge. A few minutes after I sat, the loud thundering of steps could be heard as people poured into the kitchen; some picking their breakfast to go, others finding places to sit and enjoy the meal. I finished eating and was just about to leave for school. Before, I could get out, someone tapped my shoulder, stopping me. I turned to see who it was when...
"WAKE UP RIGHT NOW! DO NOT MAKE ME FOLLOW YOU!" The thundering bass of Antoine, my brother older than me by about two minutes sounded. I opened my tires eyes, half glad to have been woken up from that dream as if I hadn't, then adjusting to reality would have been a lot more difficult. I got off the raggedy mattress I call a bed and limped up the stairs from the basement cell I call a bedroom. Once I got to the kitchen, a hefty slap landed on my cheek. It hurt like hell, but I wasn't prepared to show him how much it hurt.
