People say, when you get the bite, you either die or become a werewolf. Lydia Martin and Alana Campbell both were bitten the night of the winter formal. That night, there was only one survivor. Unfortunately, for Alana Campbell, she didn't survive.
After her death, her body turned into ashes. The supernatural had all sorts of possibilities— but a human girl turning to ash definitely wasn't normal. They never got to read more into it, after her parents threw her ashes in the ocean and vanished.
Alana lit up a room with just her smile. She was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. She didn't deserve the cruel death she had gotten. She was never meant to get wrapped up in all of this supernatural mess.
Six months. That's how long she had been gone. And Elara Anderson wasn't ready to accept the fact that her best friend had died. Elara had a dream, a dream that a girl had risen out from the ocean and it was the exact ocean where her friend was. Elara was a seer, so her dreams were like glances into the future. She was sure that the person was Alana, but no one else seemed to believe her.
