Utopias and dystopias can live side by side; it just depends on what point of view you perceive the world. In this version you will identify the difference between the lies they hold to trap us and to suspect they are so perfect and so diverse. I want you to understand there are many versions of this world, some are better than others, or so you anticipate.
Try listening to an entire ecosystem at once all of the creatures in it have left space for each other, they were not shouting on top of eachother, the crickets existed just on the cricket frequency and the elephants was right down on the bass making sub base calles, there is a type of frog i think it is the tree frog, the alpha frog will set the pace and the other ones will always sing in a 3:4 times, sometimes if it gets faster and faster it will become a 6:8 time but however fast the temp the alpha frog sets they will never sing on top of eachother, and that's the beauty of the natural world we destroyed.
I'm alone, more alone than I have ever been. It's cold, it's dark, it's wet, send help. As I run through the streets, the alleyways where I once lived my life, where all my memories were constructed, it was home but at the same time it was all gone, destroyed like a big game of Jega, it was in ruins, the technology had won. The technology we all loved more than our own family had killed us, all of us, the brick walls of my family home were smashed like an unsolved puzzle. There are drones still flying around making occasional beeping cries and an unbroken whirring noise that stays in your mind like a piece of bubblegum stuck to the ground. You may be asking yourself ‘how did humanity become this unsatisfactory?’ Well let me tell you from my very first experience in this world to my very last.
My first day, it was monumental not a care in this world, well not in my eyes. My parents have always been worried about what could happen in the future so they developed me for every possible situation, or so they thought. I took my very first steps in our gigantic garden, it was my favourite place. It felt so safe. In my tree house there, memories were created everywhere, I loved it so much. I was homeschooled. I always have been and always would have been. My parents have always been concerned by schools and how much technology they so called 'needed', or 'what if someone got into the school and hurt me', they would never forgive themselves for letting me step foot into that building, I was always right there by their side, just in case something happened.
I was fourteen years old when it all went down hill, we had got forced out of our family home and had to move into an insignificant apartment. My home was demolished and the free land was used to build more factories and apartments. As we went about our normal or what was classed as the new normal ‘they’ began to appear more and more. When I talk about ‘they’ I mean there are them then there are us. ‘They are robots, built in factories, they look like us, they sound like us but they are cold, detached, heartless and emotionless. They are taking over, they have stolen our jobs and the very essence of human assistance. Then the weirdest thing started happening, people bagan to go missing, this would normally happen during the cover of darkness whilst we slept in our beds. It began here and there, the odd neighbour and people in the apartment block in which we lived amongst. Then it began to happen more and more to every family we knew. Until one night…..we woke in the morning to find my older brother gone, just vanished, no note, no clothes taken…..just gone.
But no, being happy is simple, eat food, ( A/N that was erikas idea ) fall in love, and take happy pills when it all comes crashing down.
