Emily's house
"Emily come down here", her mom called.
"I'm coming mum", Emily replied
As she was about to leave she got a text from Bree
Bree: I'm in your neighborhood with Stella we're going to Starbucks should we come pick you up?
Emily: sure thing
Bree: okay, be there in five
Emily: will be expecting you
"EMILY", her mom shouted
"Oh! Sorry mom coming",Emily pleaded
When she finally got downstairs her mom asked "what took you so long?",
"Sorry I was about coming then I got a text and I got carried away", Emily explained
"Well I called you down here for a different reason, it's your turn to do the dishes,"
"Okay mum I'll do them"
"I'm going to the office to check a few things,"
"But mum it's Saturday,"
"I know Emily but I'm a very busy woman see you in the evening"
"Okay love you mum"
"Love you too darling"
"And mum"
"What dear"
"My friends are taking me to Starbucks is it okay?"
"Sure it is as long as you are done with the dishes"
"Okay mum bye"
"Bye"
As her mother left Emily washed the dishes as quickly as possible so that she wouldn't disappoint Bree and Stella.
As she put the last plate in place she heard the doorbell. She looked through the peep hole, it was Bree and Stella.
She opened the door for them and Stella said "are you ready?"
Emily replied with"just a sec"
"Josh, Sarah I'm going out" she called to her elder brother who was 17 and her younger sister who was 12.
"Okay" they replied. Emily said to Bree and Stella "let's go"
They left Emily's house and went to Starbucks.
When they got there Emily ordered a double espresso while Stella and Bree both ordered cappuccinos.
"We should do this more often" stella said
"Yeah" concurred Emily
