Alex was in class thinking about how much she wished for the day to end, to be able to go home and be lazy. Pat which was Alex's best friend sat next to her in math their first period. Alex and Pat were just doing what they always did in math class, which was finishing work and drawing on their work sheet.
After a while their teacher started to explain how to do the worksheet they just had finished working on. Alex wasn't really paying attention since she already knew how to do it. After the teacher stopped explaining he anounced that whatever work they didn't finish was HW. The last thing that he said was the only thing she really paid attention to since that meant no HW for her.
They got out of class as the bell rang and so on their day went on going to science, health, Drawing, lunch, English, P.E, and lastly 21st Century.
Alex was just sitting in her seat in 21st century using her phone. Today during class their teacher let them either work on their weekend HW or use there phones the rest of the period because he had no plans for them to do that day. Pat wasn't in Alex's class for this period so she was stuck on using her phone or talking to her friends that she did have in class. When there was finally only two more minutes for class, Alex got her things packed, and put her earbuds in so that she could hear music once she was out of class. The bell rang and Alex walked to go meet with Pat by their lockers.
