Without further ado here is some background information.
The story takes place at the beginning of year 4.
Rachel Snape was adopted by Professor Severus Snape, despite his attitude towards other students he has a giant soft spot since adopting Rachel. Severus was thrilled to have his "baby girl" going to Hogwarts, Rachel on the other hand was terrified she would let her adoptive father down. When the first 3 years flew by she realized that she had nothing to worry about that was until she realized she had something bubbling inside her when she saw a certain blonde boy. She has know this boy since she was young, they used to be extremely close till she started being friends with the golden trio.
