The Sawyer household isn't the ideal place to raise a small child. Between Grandpa being an older man who's simply getting too old to be fully independent,  the twins mental health issues, and Bubba's needs- Drayton has a lot on his plate to take care of.

Obviously, The family doesn't want to kill you because you're a small child. They may be cannibals but they draw the line at kids. 

Each one of the members of the family have their own unique relationship with you as your unofficial older siblings/family.

Expect them to be fiercely protective over you especially when you become an adult. Even if you know about the meat, they don't want you involved with it for your safety. Unless you're open about wanting to help them out.

Just because you're not related to them by blood doesn't mean that they don't see you as their younger sibling. You're the glue that keeps them from being too reclusive. 

Bubba Sawyer 

If Bubba was the one finding you, he finds your smaller form hiding in his room, scared and crying for comfort. 

Poor Bubba tried to calm you down the best he could. Letting you play with his childhood stuffed animal, trying to make funny noises and dances just to help you laugh.

Bubba would try to hide you from Drayton and the twins because of how loud and rambunctious they tend to be.

Drayton eventually finds you and doesn't want to have to take care of another person and tries to take you to a public place to leave you. Until Bubba starts to become upset at the idea. Drayton gives in and that's how you became a part of the Sawyers.

Bubba is probably the most calming when it comes to play time with you. He's willing to play tea parties or dress up with you if you want to.

Even as you grow up, Bubba is fiercely protective over you and doesn't want you to be involved with the "hunting side" of the family. Expect him to make you spend time with Grandpa while he prepares dinner.

Drayton Sawyer 

Finding you hiding underneath the dining room table almost gave poor Drayton a heart attack when he was setting up the table for supper.

He tries to carefully coax you out from under the table, using his type of southern charm /friendly elderly man facade (if you do not want younger man Drayton).

Drayton's original intention was to drop you off at a church. That was until his younger brothers and grandpa vetoed it.

It doesn't when you started calling Drayton "papa" because he reminds you of a father (when he scolds his brothers) 

As the two of you become closer as family, you're his official partner in the kitchen. His sous chef. 

He may not be open with people but you bet your ass that he's a softie when it comes to his favorite kitchen assistant. 

Chop Top Sawyer 

Chop top found you hiding in his shared bedroom, near a couple of record bins on the corner. It reminded him of when Bubba was that young.

Just like his twin, Chop will beg his older brother to let you stay because you don't have anyone. You walked all the way to the Sawyer house without being detected and were hiding for shelter.

Before he got drafted, chop was a lot like his twin when it came to you being his prank partner. Post war, you became his fellow music listener/dancer. 

When he got drafted into the Vietnam war, he always wrote you separate letters from his family with pictures of him in his uniform or some of the beautiful scenery he saw. 

Post war chop top would dress you up like him, giving you his old clothes to wear. 

Your music taste will be as unique and peculiar as Chop tops and hes all for the both of you dancing and singing to the music on the radio with Nubbins and bubba.

Nubbins Sawyer 

It was rare to see a child alone on the side of the road. Nubbins knew that you had been out there for a while because of how dirty you looked and how sweaty you were from the heat.

Nubbins couldn't leave you out there in the brutal Texas heat so he took you to the house. 

When Drayton saw your form and Nubbins explanation, he couldn't not abandon you like your parents did. Especially when you said that your mom and dad kicked you out of the car. 

You become the twins' third partner in chaos once you become a part of the family. Prank wars within the family and to potential victims are common.

Nubbins is all for answering any questions you may have about his pictures to the point where Drayton would force him to stop for your sake. 

I can guarantee that Nubbins has a shoebox filled with pictures of him and his family. Throughout the years, he ends up taking pictures of you at every milestone of your life (they might not be the best but he's trying.)
