Science Class

                Do you know that everyone says that if you are smarter then you have a small month?
Well, that's bullshit. I am the smartest kid in NYC Highschool and I won a lot, a lot of competition, and the hell I have a big mouth and I use it all the time. I know when I am right (I am always right) and I fight for it. 
               This is me and the fact I have a big mouth doesn't make me less intelligent. 

           I dream to be a doctor one day, I think this is my biggest dream of all. I would tell you more about me but the bell just rang and I hate, I HATE when I am late. I have Maths, on my way to the classroom I see Cala, my best friend. We have been best friends since I moved from LA to NYC...
            And if you ask me why did we leave a beautiful city like LA for NYC, then ask my dad. Since mom died he doesn't consider me or my brother at all. We are invisible till we do something that puts him in a not-good light. Then we have problems.

        My brother, Easton he is older than me. We go to the same high school and before you are about to bet that we argue all the time. I want to specify that we have a very pacific relationship
"Easton, get the hell here and shut up."
How did I say very pacific. I enter the classroom, Mrs. Johnsson is about to give some special task sheet, you see I participate at one of the most important competition in the whole USA so my teacher is driving me nuts because of it. I sit in the back of the class next to Cala. I help her sometimes in class, I love her but she has the intelligence of a piece of bread.

         I don't have the chance to finish the whole task sheet and I know Mrs. Johnsson is going to be a little mad at me but what the hell do I suppose to do? Get a life and let me live mine. We have lunch and how I just walk on the corridors I see Easton, he plays football so he sits with his friends.
"hey, Easton. Missed me?" I say sitting next to him
" Not at all... ahahaha...Oh, dad called me he said we have to go home immediately after school, not a minute late."
"It's not good..."

        After I hug my brother, I go to lunch. I am really hungry. I and Cala sit alone at a table. I don't really have friends and if someone is nice to me is just because he or she wants some homework...
       The worst is Evelyn, she hates me. Last year I was sick of her cheating on all her tests and getting good grades when I work till night to have good grades. I told the teacher she was cheating so she got an F, and then lots of them and because of it every day she tries to make my life miserable... sad I know. I learnt how to ignore her but sometimes is hard. For example last month she threw at me a bag full of trash, Easton was so mad that he almost killed her.

      NYC high school is a place where almost all rich-asses come. And because my dad has the Warner Industries, one of the most important businesses in the whole world, here I am. Two years ago, right before I went to Highschool my mom died. Since my dad changed, he always brought whores home and now he has a girlfriend, Beverly. She thinks that she is somehow better than me, and she thinks she is a queen of I don't know. All I know is that my dad ''loves'' her and I absolutely hate her.
    Beverly doesn't really accept that another girl could be more special than her but hell I was in the Warner family before her so we always fight( I have a big mouth), but every arguing finish with my dad taking her side and grounding me. Not that I care but after all, he is my dad.
     I have to say, I am kind of used to this. At least Easton is by my side no matter what. He and dad are like me and Beverly or me and dad.

    After school, I go looking for my brother. Shit-he got into a fight. This always happens, someone piss of Easton and he beats the shit out of him. I go near him
''Easton, let him. Let's go."
He doesn't even look at me.
''Easton, please..." this time I got in front of him and he stops he wouldn't hurt me even for a billion dollars. "We have to go. Dad is waiting for us. Please. He's not worth it"
"Right, you need your sister to calm you down." the boy finally talks
''You know what? Easton finishes your job. I am waiting for you in the car."
"wait-" but he doesn't have the chance to finish his sentence because Easton punch him right in the face
           After like 5 minutes, Easton is already in the car
'' Well, that was fast."
"Yeah, I kicked his ass."
"You better did."
Then we laugh together but we stop when we arrive home. We both know that what is going to happen next is not good.

       When we enter the house I can not ignore all the decorations
"Ellen, Easton go upstairs and change into something way more elegant." dad's voice breaks the since
"Why?" I ask
"You'll see" with that dad left
     After 30 minutes I and Easton are ready. I chose a long black dress with some black heels, I did my makeup with just mascara and lipgloss. Easton has a black chemise with some black pants. He really gives bad boy vibes.

      When we go downstairs the music is loud and a lot of people are in the living room. Our living room is so damn big that you could do a wedding or a party. I don't get the chance to eat anything because I and Easton are called to dad's office. In there I see dad and Beverly on his right lap.
"How you know, I was with my beautiful Beverly on that Hawaii trip. There I asked her to be my wife. This party is an Engagement Party. Try not to ruin it. I called you here because I know you wouldn't be happy and I don't want you two to make a scene
Beverly shows us her ring and FUCK-
'' That is mum's ring!" I almost scream " She left it to me. It is mine! You can't give it to her."
" Yes I can and I did." dad's voice is like a rock
"Dad, Ellen is right. You can't do that to us. You can't do that to mom."
             Dad gets up and takes my hand and puts his nails in my arm when he is sure it starts to hurt me he says "You are going to that party, act all happy and you are gonna respect your new mom."
"Beverly is never going to be our mom how you aren't nothing else but our biological father to us."
    And then I and Easton leave.
