Step 1: Grab their folder
During break or lunchtime, they will likely be out of the class for quite some time. While they're absent, take their folder and set it on a table before you carry out the next step...
Step 2: Cut some pieces off their folder with scissors
If you know where the scissors are, and you make sure you're careful using them, cut some pieces off the part where you would open a folder. Keep going until you feel happy with the result.
Do NOT forget to put the scissors back where you got them otherwise, you may get into trouble yourself. Put your friend's folder back at the table where you got it and return to your seating location or go outside (if you have time). To prevent your friend suspecting you, go to the bathrooms and stay in it for about 10 - 15 minutes. This will surely cover up your conscience.
