"How do I look?" Sunny asked while looking at herself before looking at Sunghoon.
"Basic," he replied shortly. Sunny widened her eyes and scoffed, "Can't you say something nicer than that?"
He looked at her and lightly shrugged, "You look good."
Sunny rolled her eyes and walked towards her dressing table, "Not helping at all."
"Fine," he said. "You look pretty." He told her.
Sunny looked at him and smiled, "Thank you. Now, that's a man right there."
He chuckled and looked back at his phone right after.
"Sunghoon, Sunny, let's take photo of the two of you," their coach said.
"Okay," Sunny replied with a smile before standing up from her seat. Sunghoon did the same too. They took a few photos together and once more, creating memories.
"Alright, we should get outside. Let's go. Bring your shoes with you, okay?" Their coach said.
"Okay," Sunny and Sunghoon both replied.
Sunny grabbed her belongings and shoes before exiting their waiting room. They head to the ice-skating rink together and sat on the front seat near the other opponents. Sunny and Sunghoon sat together as usual. And also, as usual, the female skaters would try to find topics to converse with Sunghoon.
"Sunghoon-ah, what are you going to do after this?" A female skater asks.
Sunghoon nervously smiled, "I'm not sure. I would head home after this probably."
"Aren't you going to celebrate? Even if you don't win, you should celebrate. We're going to celebrate and eat later on. Do you want to join us? The others will join too," she persuaded him.
"Um, I'm not sure yet. Because I have homework to do. Tomorrow's school day," Sunghoon replied.
Yeah, nice excuse, Park Sung-hoon. Sunny rolled her eyes hearing his reply.
"We're not gonna be long. An hour or two wouldn't hurt. You can do your homework after dinner," the skater continued. Oh, she's named Hye-rin. One of the most beautiful skaters in South Korea.
"Maybe next time. Sorry," Sunghoon replied and their conversation ended there.
"Yah," Sunghoon nudged Sunny lightly. She raised her eyebrows and looked at him. "I'm going to the restroom for a while," he told her. Sunny simply nodded and he rushed out.
However, just a few seconds after Sunghoon left, Hyerin also went out. Those minutes felt like hours because Sunghoon had not come back for more than five minutes. What even is he doing in the restroom for more than five minutes?
The next duo was already called after the previous one ended their performance. Sunny and Sunghoon's coach then approached Sunny and asked her about Sunghoon's whereabouts.
