The last few weeks had been brutal. The members of BTS had been under constant stress from trying to perfect their dance routines. But there was one thing that got Namjoon through it, and that was Jin.
Every moment they were together acted as an energy source for Namjoon. He didn't know why he felt like that. What was the difference between Jin and the other members? Well, this was a question only Joon could answer.
NAMJOON'S POV
It's not as if I wanted this to happen. It's not like I wanted to fall for my best friend. Hell, I would give anything to go back to the way it used to be when we were just two guys who happened to be debuted in the same band. But every second I spent with Jin felt like a life force that kept me on the ground; every minute was gravity for me.
And if I could go back, I'd probably just end up here all over again anyway, right? Falling for the guy I know I shouldn't. Surely it was forbidden, if not by the company then by society. But still, I can't help that even just looking in his eyes was enough to make me love him more than I thought I could ever love anyone.
THIRD PERSON POV
After dance practice was over, Namjoon walked over to Jin. "Hey," he said, "you did well today." He knew he shouldn't be feeding into his feelings, but he just wanted to test the waters to see if his love for Jin was really genuine.
"I could've done better, but thank you. And you did well too." Jin replied. And that was the moment Joon knew his feelings were for real; when he blushed and smiled at Seokjin's small compliment.
"Thank you." he responded, before walking away, "Thank you." he reiterated quiet enough that no one heard him. And so he really was falling for none other than Kim Seok-jin.
