A/N: I swear I didn't die. I am so sorry for not posting.

After a night of more crying than sleeping, Zack’s throat was sore. It was all too much. What has. Alex went through. It hurt to think of what he wrote. He promised they’d be together forever. That he would come back. That he won’t leave him alone. Yet, here he was alone at Alex’s little home thing. He never understood it but he was there now.

He was there with Alex’s things all around him. Alex was probably going through hell, but here he was. Moping around while he was out there, in god knows what. He needed that wake up. To wake up to what his best friend is going through, even more than a bestfriend is going to be put through. He hated how he was just sitting in a den. He could at least fix it up a little for when Alex gets out.

“No, that’s dumb we could do it together when I get him out.” Zack said shaking his head. “I need him and right now he could use a helping hand to get out of the hell he is in right now! “ he explains to no-one but himself.

Well, he thought, he didn’t see the person outside. The person there to collect things to make Alexander comfortable in the [redacted]. The person only hoped for the future. Only hope can work and they knew it. They had been the one to tell people that when they were younger. They had been forced to think like that over the years.
