Chapter Four

Ameila's Pov
The strange behavior had sense then been going on for a few months now. Either I wasn't as observant as I once was, or I found actually wanting to be in Bonten business. Like I had promised Rindou we would spend time from time when he wasn't busy and neither was I. Ran's leg had made a speedy recovery which meant he came back home a lot more. My superstitious of him just grew more.

I could trust my boyfriend of a few years not to be sneaky. Hell I didn't even care if he went to Sanzu's strip club as long I didn't hear about his old ways I was alright.

"Hey baby, not that I don't love having my baby doll home, how come you've been home more?" I yanked the coffee cup close to me off the counter once the machine taking a glance over at Ran who was resting on the island counter laying slumped on his arms watching me closely, those eyes of his watching me closely.

"They haven't been giving me too many shifts." I chuckled shaking my head after doctoring up the cup, lifting it up to take a deep sip from. "Although I should be saying the same thing. Doesn't Manjiro have you doing you know. Haitani things." A husky chuckle was soon followed, before he was urging me to come sit on his lap, to which I happily  sliding in place.

"Now look who is all interested in Bonten busy, baby doll. He'll call me if he needs me. Might have a zoom meeting cause not everyone wants to go into the building." I rolled my eyes playfully, sliding my one arm in place over his shoulder.

"Oh how interesting it sounds, can I stay and watch?" The look of surprise washed over his face for a brief moment, before a sleepy smile grew over his face before he was nodding his head leaning in to press little kisses to my cheek over and over.

"Course you can, I gotta cut our love feast short cause I gotta piss so badly." He whined quickly sliding out of the stool leaving me to prop myself up against the counter rolling my eyes in more amusement sipping to cup fully. At least it was waking me up, A soft vibration had me looking towards the marble counter.

Of course like a weirdo he never brings his phone with him to the bathroom. I scooped up his phone about to head over to slip into the bathroom to hand it over, when it vibrates a few more times in my palms causing me to arch my eyebrows at the name Risa.

Ran Haitani! How are you the most feared brother

Ran! Your dumbass missed another appointment, stepping up my ass, you're lucky I haven't walked my ass up there and told your little girlfriend.

My hands fumbled for a moment almost dropping his phone in the process when my heart started to hammer away, quickly looking away from the Imessage to let his phone rest back in place. My hands felt clammy and my heart was gonna drop to my feet.

It had to have been cheating, I'm not that dumb.. Yet it must be more. I groaned squeezing my eyes tightly for a moment that caffeine wasn't a good idea at all. It's just fueling even more anxiety then I needed right now. I dropped the cup into the sink harshly almost shattering it, yanking my own phone out.

Who in Bonten would know about this? Sanzu? Manjiro? Kakucho, Takeomi, Kanji, Hajime. It was growing more frustrating by the minute before only one name stuck out the most. Rindou... I jumped in place watching Ran come back out with a groan fixing up his sweats muttering about how he was taking to long to piss. I forced out a small smile his way.

"Hey uhm your phone was vibrating, I think Mikey needs you." He slide back in place at the counter top to grab at his phone scanning his eyes across it with one motion he scowled deeply.

"That little bitch, lucky I haven't sent someone to kill them." He looked far beyond annoyed sighing in place. I then quickly pushed myself up for a moment kissing the top of his head, telling him I was gonna go to bathroom. Once I was far enough, I had slipped into the bedroom, heading straight to the balcony dialing Rindou's number, leaning against the railing.

A few dial times were heard before a sleep annoyed voice was grumbling out. "Someone should be dying calling me this early it's 8 am." I once again rolled my eyes leaning against the railing more before I spoke.

"8 am isn't early Rindou. But since I have your lovely self on the phone. Don't bullshit or mess around with me. Who is Risa? And I would tell the truth cause when I'm pissed off and I hear more lies. I get more pissed off." I heard the loudest sounding crash on his end, before a string of curses were being let out in one go, his voice now being heard clear on his end.

"What the fuck? I guess he's an idiot to the full max. Meet me at that cafe near Sanzu's place alright? I'll tell you all I know, just don't confront him yet." I knew I should have been more pissed at Rindou for also keeping a secret but the brothers were close like that. Each of their happiness meant the world to one another.

"Alright, fine."
