I am so annoyed with Warner right now. Is he trying to distract me so I can get voted out the competition? Because that's what it feels like. Like he's worried about me and Duncan, yeah right! I don't trust a word he says.
"Hey, what's with you?" Duncan asks.
"Just... Got some bad news from home, that's all."
"Is that allowed?" He asks. "When can the rest of us get phone privileges?"
"I don't have phone privileges. Warner called me about something I really didn't want to hear," I explain to him.
"Whoa, what was it?" He asks.
"I don't want to talk about it."
"I know we haven't exactly been getting along lately, but you can tell me, babe. I want to be supportive."
So he wants to act like my boyfriend now? No, thank you. I'm sorry, but I can't get my hopes up again. I'm done being disappointed. If we're going to do this, I need to know what happened to him in those 2 weeks after "Island" when we didn't see each other, and why he decided he didn't want this anymore. I deserve an explanation, and not some p1ss poor excuse.
"I- I'm sorry, I can't do this," I tell him, and I walk away. "Not right now."
"Princess-"
I get on the bus and sit next to Leshawna. Chris is taking us to some unknown location, and I'm totally not looking forward to it. There's no telling where we're going, or if we'll all come back in one piece. I just hope it isn't like the first challenge. There's only so much I can take.
...
"This cannot be happening! We're back at Camp Wawanokwa, really?!"
...
"Yes campers, we're actually back at your old stomping grounds. Total. Drama. Island! If you need to take a moment and reminisce about the great times you had here..."
We all burst out laughing. Chris is so funny! Like we'd actually miss this place- oh, he's serious.
Awkward.
"Fine. We'll skip the 'good memories' montage. Screaming Gaffers, you've got a thirty minute head start on... The sand castle building contest! To be judged by our resident King o' the Dunes. Make like prop masters guys and give me something awesome. I really don't want the tiebreaker to have to go down. I don't think legal's quite approved it yet."
Anyways...
...
30 minute head start? Cool! And Harold is quite crafty at this. With us working together, I think we have a really good chance at winning this thing!
"DJ, wetter sand in that bucket!" Harold orders.
"Leshawna, pack it firmer," I tell her. "We need a good firm base."
"Who died and made you two Bossy McPushy?"
"I'm a bit of a Gehry buff," Harold answers.
"My dad and I use to enter sandcastle building contest all the time in California! With him being a repair man, we use to build the most perfect castles, and we would win the first place title almost every year."
