"Lory!" Hallie ran into her sister's arms, as soon as she spotted her by the stairs. Papa Colt had picked Hallie up from school, and Raven had taken Lorelei home early.

He was back at the pub already, and wouldn't be home until midnight, "how was school?" Lorelei held her sister's hand and led her into the house.

Papa Colt disappeared behind his door, deciding to give the sisters some privacy.

"We learnt how to spell, encyclopedia."

"Wow, that's a big word!" Hallie puffed out her chest.

"I was the only one who could say it! The boys were so jealous!"

"I bet they were," they walked into Hallie's bedroom, and Lorelei knelt down, "take a bath and then you can play."

"Okay, can I have some juice after?"

"Yes, of course," Hallie grabbed her towel and ran off into the bathroom. Lorelei stood and dusted the skirt of her dress. She needed to start dinner soon, knowing that Papa Colt probably hadn't eaten a proper lunch, and was starving.

Fixing the covers of Hallie's bed, she noticed a picture underneath the bed frame. She picked it up and looked at it curiously, knowing that it was probably Raven's little sister.

They looked so much alike. The same eyes, and the small nose, including the curved lips. She wondered how most of the women in their lives were no longer with them. It was a shame.

She decided to keep it until Raven got home, so that she could give it to him.
