i believe to my soul
HE FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. His heart thumped with the waves of the roaring ocean, and his veins flooded with warmth. The summer day cracked under thunderous symphonies of humanity and romance. Music twirled through the air of the divine, silent to the ears of living, breathing creatures.Kaito Isioka stood frozen in his place.
An orchestra of beauty and grace reached his ears, the light of heaven bedizening the world. He watched as fluffy brown hair was swept in the air, loose curls urged to the ground by gravity's gentle force. The arms of an angel were swung back, pure feathers blessing the scene as wings extended into the air, knees bent, a spring in the stranger's step.
Fingers brushed against a volleyball.
Kaito inhaled deeply.
The way the ball was shot over the net, the wind pressure picking up, the sweet sound of it crashing against the gymnasium floor, all of it had Kaito stunned, enamoured. His gaze was locked onto the tall, lean boy wearing an alien-themed shirt and grey shorts.
His breath vanished from his lungs.
Breathlessly, he asked, "Who's that?"
His younger brothers, Yutaka and Yuji, stood on either side of him, their hands clasped with his. Tiny fingers tightened their grip, relaxed but secure. The twins stared ahead, looking in the same direction as their older brother. Well, one of their older brothers.
Kaito's attention was fixated on the boy.
His mind was on overdrive.
Panic flooded his veins.
Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit. That was so fucking hot. How can someone jump so high? How did he manage to do that so elegantly? He's wearing kiddish clothes, for goodness sake. That should not be as hot as it is.
It's safe to say that Kaito was indeed having a gay panic attack.
Am I gay?
Are they pretty, or am I attracted to them?
Wait, what's the difference? What's gOING ON?!?!
"That's Oikawa-shensei," supplied Yuji, a bright grin on his face. Taking after their father, Yuji had dark hickory hair, wavy strands a mess on his head. It was parted to the side; his fringes cut short after their mother's adamant pleadings.
Yutaka, who had the same hairstyle, nodded. "He teaches us how to play volleyball!"
The twin brothers were identical, and the only thing that differentiated them was the moles on their faces. Yutaka had a mole under his left eye, small but obvious for the analytical eye. Yuji, on the other hand, had a mole beside his lip. It was rather circular, curving inwards to reflect a jagged crescent shape.
