Chapter One: Wakana Inuzuka

"Okay everyone! Please pass your homework at front and review your lessons because this Monday we have test. Do you understand?" The history professor reminded the class.

"Not again! Why does every professor keep tormenting us?" One girl mumbled.

"Don't keep complaining! It's for your own good." The professor answered back. "Okay class dismissed!"

"Finally, the class is dismissed." Every student in the class started to packed their things carefully. Some students decided visiting a KTV bar, others are planning where to go in group outing and the last are marching towards their respective club.

"Wakana-chan! Wanna hang out with us?" A black haired woman approached a sitting woman who still packing her school supplies.

"Mira, I don't think I can come with you today, you see I must help my mother today in the market so I hope you understand that." A brown haired woman answer. "But you can envite Hana if she wanted."

"Ehhh! I heard my name. What going on?" A blond beauty approach them.

Mira Natsume, a woman with black haired started to explain the situation to their added newcomer friend and ask if Hana Kage is free.

"I am free, where do you think we should go?" Asked back by Hana.

"Guys! I must go, Goodbye and see you this Monday!" Wakana said bowing toward them and waving back at them.

Wakana walking towards the exit of the university carefully so that she mustn't bumped to other students. She proceed toward to her locker and took out her outdoor shoes.

Everyone was walking but some of them are waving at taxi so that they can come back to their home faster but for Wakana she like to walk while appreciating the sceneries and people walking and doing their own things after all to Wakana it is peaceful and normal thing in the world.

"What am I doing!? I must be hurry and help my mother at the market." Wakana mumbled to herself.

She started walking fast and before she knew she's already at the entrance of the market and going to the specified area of her mother's store. She saw her mother wearing apron talking to her customer, the nearer she get the more she heard about their conversation, they converse the amount of prize payment of the customer. The customer pay, bowed and walk away in her hands are the grocery she shop in the market. Wakana walked to her mother and apologize for her being late while her mother just wave her hand dismissing her and ordered her to work because there are so many customers that day.

Wakana worked until they close their store and together they walk back home. They stay silent until they finally get to their destination, their home. It is simple apartment for two people, they been renting it for years. They been living here as long as Wakana remember, her childhood memory is in here.

Wakana and her mother, Aki Inuzuka walked to the stairs and to their front door but they see someone standing at the front. It is middle aged man with a beard that Wakana knew about, it is her uncle Jaken. He is the brother of her mother that always visiting them. Wakana was always closed to her uncle, she remembered playing with him when she was a little girl. She walked to her uncle and greeted him with a bow.

"Good day uncle Jaken, what's bring you here?" Greeted Wakana while Aki just nod at him inserting a key to the keyhole so that she can open the door.

"Well, I came here because I have business with your mother." Jaken answered back enter the house while his niece entering after him

"Is that so, then I prepare a tea to the two of you," Wakana said to her mother and uncle, walking to the kitchen to prepare the tea leaving her mother and uncle. Jaken and Aki had been silent waiting for their tea after a few minutes later Wakana come with tea sets and pour them tea after that she bow and told her mother that she will in her room working in her studies that if they need something they can just yell at her.

Jaken and Aki watch Wakana leave and when they hear the sound the door closing in Wakana's room they started to talk to each other.

"Master Jaken, I hope you have a pleasant journey," Aki said while bowing to the man.

"No big deal, the only tiring is I have to be in a train full of humans. The humans are changing so fast they started to invent things to their own convenient." Jaken said while dismissing the bowed.

"That's what human is, they keep changing together with time," Aki said "but Master Jaken what makes you visit us?"

Jaken stroke his beard while complementing her words after that he started talking on what purpose why he visit them.

"Sesshomaru-sama want to know your status if you become involve in a yokai here, after all this is not our territory and my investigation tells me that the owner of this area is an yokai Yakuza family called Nura clan. Did you heared about them?" Jaken said staring at Aki while waiting for her answer.

"I know about them but Master Jaken rest assured, Wakana and I are not their acquaintance and we don't know each other. I will protect Wakana-sama and let her live a normal life as a normal human." Said Aki solemnly.

"Aki-san, I know it's hard to mingled with the human but this is a mission assigned to you by Sesshomaru-sama you must not fail but in order to be successful Sesshomaru-sama ordered Madara-san to be here as well, together with him you must guarded and protect Wakana-sama." Said Jaken sipping to his tea.

"I accept! But when do Madara-san come here?"Aki asked Jaken.

"He will be here in a week. That's all I wanted to say to you but you must be careful, and Wakana-sama must never ever have any contact in yokai and ayakashi if that happen you already know the consequence," Jaken said while standing and started to walk outside. He stop for a while and shouted to the direction of Wakana's room.

"Wakana-chan, I'll be going now and thank you to the tea it's delicious," Jaken said facing to the direction of Wakana's room. Wakana walked out of her room and asked her uncle if he's not staying at night. Jaken answered that he still needed to catch the train because he still has business to go back to. He said goodbye and bow to them and leave their apartment.

Wakana said her goodbye and told her told her mother that she would started to cook for dinner leaving her mother gazing at her back while thinking.

'Wakana-sama, I'm sorry for doing this and continuing lying to you but in order for you live happily without regret you must live in a life full of lies, I hope someday you forgive me for my sin's to you'
