Chapter Six

Sidharth Pov

I looked at shehnaaz who finished telling us whatever was in the documents, her lips had formed into a small smirk looking at her father who was looking at her with eyes filled with venom. Jasbir gill has been working with my family for quite a while, he was my dad's lawyer and than mine. His father worked for my grandfather there it goes on till today where I'm going to work with his daughter. Jasbir is good at mind games and likes following the line of lie to save his clients, he has saved us from the problems at the same time has found his own profit in it. That is taking money from us, his daughter was never in the picture of our business, he had informed us about his daughter studying in England, London to pursue her law career , but never mentioned that she was going to take his place.

Jasbir isn't a very great ful man , he couldn't keep up a healthy married life, couldn't give a stable lifestyle to his daughter nor be there for them. We had never trusted jasbir as we had always found him to be ungrateful, he had taken drugs from us and couldn't pay it on time, he had tried giving away some of our shares to an opposite company for money and much more. We have always kept an eye on him , we knew that he would approach his daughter, I had known about shehnaaz from the time I'm working as a gang leader Or know that she is being reading in London to become a lawyer but never had an opportunity to meet her. Her dad had contacted her few days ago saying she needs to take over his company and pay his depths, she didn't agree in instance to help him out, so he had threatened her and disrespected her.

Shehnaaz on the other hand is known for being the number one lawyer of our country, she tends to help only innocent people or who she thinks who are genuine and need help, she has been approached by the gang leaders and people of underworld to be there lawyer, she has rejected in working with any of them. She is a smart women which I assumed , I knew that she wouldn't listen or take over this opportunity so easily.

As we completed our meeting I signed over the document reading it clearly making sure going through it, I greeted the gills and left the place not before teasing shehnaaz a bit who scowled at me. Mr gill left us till the elevator and walked back in and closed the door of the cabin, I asked azhar and gaurav to leave as I felt that something is going to happen knowing that jasbir wouldn't digest the fact of being abandoned. I walked back towards the cabin and heard hoarse voice asking for help, I heard jasbir yell at his high pitched voice, I broke open the door too see shehnaaz was slammed against the wall and jasbir was strangling her and chocking her for air.

I pulled him aside from shehnaaz knocking him on the floor, I threw some punches on his face for being a shitty father, I made sure I spoil his ugly face and turn it uglier, I was pulled back by shehnaaz who held my shoulder pulling me back, she pushed me off jasbir holding my arm tight with all her strength , she held me tight while I warned her father to stay away from her, he ran out saving himself from dieing, she started to breath heavily gasping for air, her hold on my arm losses, I held her hand as her body was about to collapse down on the ground.

Shehnaaz pov

My head was aching, I felt myself against a soft mattress cuddled into a flabby comforter, I felt my body relax but my head wouldn't stop to ache, I felt my throat was dry and I needed a liquid to wipe this dryness off, I open my eyes to find myself in a luxurious bedroom which looked similar to sidharth, I got up resting my back against the headboard, I tried taking up the glass of water from the night stan with my shakey hands , I felt someone clear their throat, I look up to see sidharth standing near the entrance of the room placing his hands in the pockets, I sat there looking at him blankly, he walked in making me drink the water to quench my thirst, I thanked him as he placed the pillows behind my back to make me feel comfortable, he sat opposite to me on the bed and held my hand in his rubbing circles over it , I look up into his grey orbs which were examining me, I cleared my throat taking my hands of him.

Sana : hmm... What happened to me??

Sidharth sighs deeply looking at me saying..

Sid : due to the pressure on your throat and not eating anything from the morning got you dizzy and ill.

Sana : but why am I in your house??

Sid : well I'm not that of a cold hearted mafia boss who would leave a beautiful woman like you to die there all alone, so I got you here to my house called the doctors to have a check on you.

Sana : wait it still doesn't make you a good person .

Sid : I'm not claiming to be one, I'm the devil himself disguised as the handsome, charming and a charismatic man on the planet.

Sana : aren't you full of yourself, anyways thank for saving me and I'm prettier than you.

Sid : that you are, well you are making it way too formal I'm your boss remember.

Sana : I'm the boss here and you are my client, so bye mr shukla see you at work whenever there is.

Sid : well I don't know about work for now but you need to stay here.

Sana : and why is that??

Sid : I'm the boss.

Sana : than it isn't nice of me staying at my bosses place.

Sidharth protested against me for a while and me being the stubborn woman that I was didn't agree to stay with me so he decided to drop me off my house, we pulled over at the driveway off my house, I Unclasped my seatbelt ready to open the door when sidharth held my arm pulling me towards him, our faces were extremely close to each other I gulped at the proximity looking into his eyes, he lifts his head up placing a tender kiss on my forehead lingering his lips over there for few seconds which felt like minutes may be I closed my eyes placing my hand over his chest, he pulled away smiling with twinkling eyes, I smiled back getting off the car closing the door bidding him a bye when I heard him say...

" Good night angel and dream about me "
