chapter 13

Grillby walked toward the innkeeper's house. looked at the darkness around him. He lighted his own path up. the flowers glowing around him and the quietness and the sound of bugs. He finally had arrived and knocked onto the door. He was met by the rabbit monster.

" yes? what brings you at night to us grillby" she asked glaring. as she had seen from the window how he helped two pairs of kids from the dog monster. She wasn't sure why but the kids were pittyfull dressed and seemed skinny.

" I need some clothing for a pair of kids." grillby sighed. as he stood there in front of her. she couldt say no to her friend. But again who were the kids? " Bring me to them," she ordered. putting a cowl on. and then her coat wrapping it around her plain green tunic. she walked back upstairs swiftly trying not to wake the house and her kids. She raised her ear as her man was sleeping tight and sound. she chuckled. then walked with a basket of different sized garments.

" Come with but dont be suprised." grillby warned. as he already had begun leading the way back to his own bar. To her big surprise, grillby had the HUMANs inside there. At first she was frightened but seeing the golden brown eyes of the half asleep frisk. made her notice they were children.

she looked at the other snoring loudly. their garments were dirty to say the least. she already had begun reaching into the basket fishing two pairs of harem pants in a rust red out. and laid them onto the table. she looked at their faces. they would be easily noticed that way.

she began looking into the basket more pulling an oversized tunic out both in a dark blue color made out of linen. she pulled two gugels out colored in blue also made out of linen. matching her son's old outfit. only the harem pants had lately been trendy as they were made out of linen.

She pulled out the last two long capes with hoods. in a dark green tone and fabric wool. they won't be able to see their faces just like that. and their hair was hidden away. but now the problem was their face. Grillby seemingly understood her pain. it hit grillby their faces and would be noticed. He scratched his chin. Frisk already had laid snoring, not even waking to them being there.

chara laid snoring not even waking when some melted candle had hit their cheek. It hit him that the candle could be used to put something on their face like flowers for a short while. but if they used the candle on their skin they would get a more slimed look. they could go under as a slime monster. and the flowers could hide their scent. grillby and the innkeeper nodded to each other grinning. Grillby watched her storm out to get something. As so he had begun grabbing some of the candles. He slowly heated it up in a pot moving the melted candle. It took a rather long time to melt. He glared at the tone. He grabbed some dusted powder from a bottle and mixed it in. making the tone a more pale tone.

He watched the kids slowly wake. It had taken nearly all night to melt this. He was getting tired but kept moving it. so every piece of the dust had become the same with the melted candle. darn be it. The candles they used down here lasted long.

He watched chara watch with viden eyes. They had rubin red eyes. Chara honestly was lucky to have them. by monsters red eyes were a beauty standard. He noticed the tunic would be too big on chara. He watched the Innkeeper storm inside.

" sorry took a while!. found some better clothing" she gasped holding a pair of red and blue wool dresses. " I ran to my cousin there has two daughters with old clothing. they surely would match! oh they awake?" the tall rabbit monster smiled to chara there and watched quietly with the same smile.

" Oh my what pretty eyes you got " the rabbit monster moved over grabbing charas face smiling viden. She studied the kids' faces. somewhat chubby. wonderful chestnut brown hair. short but still pretty. and pale. if not for being a human she would gladly have tried to make one of her sons wed the young girl.
