Chapter Sixteen

-Recap-
Martin spoke up about something he would like the project to be about. What he said almost made her blush, but she held it back. Martin wanted to do the project about Robin. The partner to Batman.

"Y-you want to do the project about Robin?" Dahlia mentally cursed at herself for stuttering.

"Yeah I think he's pretty cool. Plus you're from Gotham so you must know about Robin right?" Martin said, smiling as he scrolled through stuff on his laptop.

"Yeah.." Dahlia said.

Dahlia felt a little sad when Martin mentioned Robin and saying 'he'. When Dahlia first went out as Robin. Bruce had told her that she couldn't be a, well, she. That's when she became a boy. Only when she was Robin did she change her gender. Bruce had thought to do this since the 'world is too dangerous for girls' and that 'the Robins before you had been boys'. At first Dahlia didn't like this idea, but she got used to it. But just because she got use to doesn't mean she still didn't like it.

The two students both agreed to do the work about Robin. Listing words that describes Robin. How he acts, how he saves people. And the fact that he did everything without powers.

-Dick's POV third person-
Dick watched the two children work. He thought it was funny how they were going to do their project on Robin. Even funnier was that Dahlia is Robin.

-Texting-
Dick: They're doing their project on Robin
Jason: Seriously? Wish I could of seen Dahlia's face!!!!
Dick: The kid keeps talking about how strong and amazing Robin is
    It sounds like he has a crush on Robin
Jason: He better not
-End Conversation-
Dick just rolled his eyes at Jason's text. Since Dahlia had came to stay at the manor they all became protective of her. Even though she was a former assassin. They all felt a need to keep her safe. Jason became the most protective out of all of them, aside from Bruce being Dahlia's father and all. It even took a while for Jason to let Jon be near Dahlia!

Now there was this new boy hanging around Dahlia and Jason didn't like that. Not one bit. There was just something about him that Jason hated. When Jason was protective of Dahlia over Jon, it was just because Jon was a boy. But this kid just gave Jason a bad feeling. Like he's hiding something. Whatever it was Jason didn't like it.

Dahlia and Martin continued to work on the project till 6 pm when Dick decided it was time for him and Dahlia to go home. Martin cleans up everything as soon as the two leave. Once he was done he cleaned his cup and went to his room. As soon as he sat on his bed. And I mean the exact second he sat down, an explosion happened. Sighing, Martin said the words. The words to become Ladybug. To save his city. But what he didn't know was that a few birds and a bat were 'passing' by...
