As I'm sitting in class, I fall asleep at my desk, I knew this would happen knowing I didn't get good sleep last night because I was scared to go to a new school, not even what felt like a minute the bell went off and woke me up, I get up and feel sluggish. When I'm at my locker Hannah comes up to me and asks if I'm alright, I say I am and then she speaks to me. I stare at her eyes, not paying attention to what she's saying, her eyes are so pretty I think to myself. I then wonder what part of Asia she is from, since she is part Asian. I then agree with whatever she said and can't resist asking her, I asked what part of Asia she is part with sign language of course, she looks confused on how that had to do with whatever she was talking about, but then she says she's part Korean, but she's never been there before. I'm for some reason fascinated by that. Out of curiosity I ask who's Korean in her family, she shrugs and said "I believe it's my mom," she sighs and says "but I'm
Not so sure." I ask south or North Korea, Hannah looks annoyed at this point but still answers " South Korea, but she was almost born in North Korea but her mom somehow managed to escape North Korea but she got caught and had to go in South Korea instead but then she managed to get to America so yeah," she looks at me then says "so, where are you from?" I look up at her since she's taller than me and then say Mexico "ooohhh that's cool! What part of Mexico?" She asks, she seems excited and I don't know why, I say I'm from Mérida, Mexico. She said "isn't that place almost as popular as Mexico City?" She asked, I say it's the second most, before she says something else I get saved from the bell.
