"A Succubus is a piece of soul that breaks down from your body in case of unfinished business" Caliban told her, but that's not what she's worried about. The story about Eden is haunting her everywhere.
She sees Caliban's hands buried in her hair, his hands on her thighs, Lamia could never compete against that mortal girl's purity and innocence. Lately she has been so focused on the mortal girl's story that she had almost forgotten her nightmares.
Almost.
Because they were always there, inside a little part of her brain, waiting to be brought back to life behind her eyes as soon as her head touched the pillow. She woke up minutes later, her petticoat clinging to her back, her long hair tangled, her eyes swollen as she searched for Caliban next to her with one hand, but then she remembered that the demon didn't sleep, and she bit the pillow to relief her pain.
The girl couldn't admit it to anyone. She was focusing on helping Sabrina to get rid of the Uninvited to keep her mind busy. She kept dancing of course, but in Hell she was a lot less inspired as there were no stupid mortals to seduce in her palace, and everyone was already too corrupted to be amazed by her hips movement. She destroyed herself with her dance movements, hoping to fall asleep as soon as possible, but as soon as she closed her eyes the nightmares brought back to life, like an awful show just for her: she found herself at Greendale Carnival, her arms and legs paralysed.
Even Sabrina noticed that Lamia had started to be closer to her, the Enchanteress felt more and more fond on the young witch, every time that Sabrina visited her, Lamia couldn't resist asking if she could stayed a little longer.
"Five minutes more, please" Lamia asked.
She didn't want to be alone. Specifically she didn't want to be alone in the dark of the night alone with her self-destructive and harmful thoughts.
And Sabrina always stayed a little longer.
"So, how are things with the Uninvited?" Lamia asks, drinking a cup of blood in her room.
"Oh" Sabrina answers, sipping some blueberry tea from a golden cup. " You told me about the right gift to offer him to leave us alone, right?"
"Absolutely" Lamia's eyes sparkle.
Thanks to the quest for the Unholy Regalia Lamia had learnt many useful things. "See, Succubus are a bit difficult to manage, but with the Uninvited is a little bit easier because it's easier to trick"
Sabrina looks at her raising her eyebrows.
"I mean yes, it's definitely creepy...and it can be annoying, but they're less dangerous that... I mean...The Void".
"Yes, I know what you mean, so what's your brilliant idea? How will you persuade him to stay here in Hell?" Sabrina asks.
"Maybe by tempting him with a gift...no, seriously Sabrina we have so many things here in Hell....I mean, after the first quest..."
Sabrina starts to understand.
"Oh no...please, tell me you're not thinking about Herod's crown"
"Wait, wait, I'm not saying we will actually give it the crown, it's an Unholy Regalia, for Lucifer's sake"
Sabrina sighs with relief.
"It could live here at the Castle, with all the commodities....I mean, it would be another corrupted being among the crowd of damned souls..."
"Do you think it will work?" Sabrina asks.
