Breakfast

Virgo's P.O.V

Last night was hectic. I was dead tired from all that travelling. I usually like to live quietly and not move around too much but I knew I'd give anything to attend this school.

I woke up at 5.30 am, just as the sun finished rising. Carefully, I removed my blanket and pushed it over to one side. I got up from my bed, taking great care to not wake my roommate.

I got my toothbrush and toothpaste out of my bag as well as my bathrobe and another set of clothes. I didn't have enough energy yesterday to unpack all my belongings.

After half an hour or more, I'd finished getting ready. I wore a black tank top with dark blue, an oversized sweater and lastly some grey sweat pants. I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen, wearing my favourite pink bunny slippers.

"What are you doing this early?" A voice called.

I looked up to the kitchen and saw Ms Nebula cooking.

"Huh.. oh I just woke up early and wanted to make breakfast but it seems you already started."

"Then come over, I still need help with the cleaning and cutting. Extra help would be appreciated." She said,

I walked over to her and she pointed to where she kept all the aprons. The only one left was bright pink, barbie themed apron that had "barbie" written on it with bold, white letters.

"Don't you have any more aprons?" I asked,

"A student had gifted it 31 years ago, it's older than both of us, be grateful I'm letting you wear it." She said pointing her spatula at me. I raised my hands in defence,

"I was just asking! Sorry-!"

"Hurry up and cut the carrots."

We had gotten everything ready in about 2 hours or so. Slowly some students started coming downstairs.

"Ah, I see you've gotten the breakfast ready."

I turned to see who it was. In front of me was a short, dark blue-haired person with an undercut. They had a massive scar on the right side of their face.

"Hm yeah, I got up at 5 so I decided to help," I replied with a smile, "you can sit down and start eating."

"I think ill just wait for the others, I'll be in the living in the meantime." They said before walking away.

I helped Ms Nebula bring out all the dishes and set them on the table. After everything was set, I called the others to the kitchen.

"Before you start, I forgot I needed to give to something," Ms Nebula stated, "here's 12 cards, one for each of you, they're all the same. They're used to buying stuff so you can just call them credit cards but the difference is that any purchases made with this card will be paid by the school, by anything I mean ANYTHING."

Sagittarius handed me a card and I looked at it. It was mat black with a gold outline.

"With that being said, I'll be heading over to my place. It seems you already have someone that can cook so food won't be an issue I believe. If you have any problems, just call me on your personalised phone the school provided."

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the school had given us each a personalised phone on the plane. It had all of the 12 student council members' contacts as well as our caretaker, Ms Nebula. It also had a special app which showed our grades, our purchases, and our teacher's report about us. Other than that the phone was just a normal black phone which we can buy phone cases for.

"Alright kids, don't make any messes!" With that our caretaker left.

"Oi, one of the seats is still empty?" A black-haired girl said, unsurely.

"Hm, who isn't here?" Sagittarius asked,

"It's Gemini," I sighed, I got up from the table and headed to his room.

I knocked once. Twice. And thrice.

"I swear god Gemini I will break your fucking door down-! " I yelled,

"Heh, that won't be necessary," I turned to see a black-haired boy with orange eyes smiling at me and holding a key, "Don't worry, I'll open so you can bring him down."

I walked into the room and Gemini was still fast asleep his back turned to me. I grabbed a fist full of his hair and jerked him awake.

"What the fuck-" He groaned,

"Get downstairs now, breakfast is ready," I said, crossing my arms,

"Five more minutes..." He replied and started pulling his bright red blanket over his body.

"Five more minutes my ass," I told him. I placed my arm around his chest and dragged him out off his room and down the stairs.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming..." He said slowly getting up and dusting himself.

He followed me to the kitchen and sat down at the empty seat.

"I don't even like eating breakfast," Gemini mumbled.

"This is awkward..." Sagittarius whispered to a blue-haired boy.

"Why don't we introduce ourselves, duh," A blonde replied,

"Sounds good, you start then," the blue-haired one spoke.

"Hello! Nice to meet you all, my name's Leo, Leo Lionhart, I'm 19 years old." He said with a charming smile,

"I'll go next," the blue-haired boy said, "I'm Aquarius Bearer, I'm 20," He finished.

"Hm, I'm Libra and I am 19." The brown-haired girl was not making any eye contact.

"Hey hey! I'm Aries Ramsey, libra's roommate!" She looked interesting. She had two different coloured hair and her eyes were enchanting.

"Okay, so uhm, hello, my name's Cancer, yeah, and I'm 18." The red-head giggled.

"My name is Scorpio Secrett and I'm 19." Said the tall, black-haired girl, next was a girl with bright green hair with orange tips.

"Ahem, ahem, I'm Pisces, nice to meet you... I guess."

"I'm Capricorn and I am 21, also yes, I'm a girl."

"I'm Virgo Maiden, Gemini's 'step brother'." I said, putting air quotes around the word "stepbrother".

"I'm Sagittarius, hello! I'm 19!" My roommate said,

"My name is Taurus Hart, I'm 21." The orange-eyed boy said, and lastly,

"Hello, my name's Gemini Duo, I'm 18."

"Well, we finished with the introduction, now what?" Aries asked,

"Let's make plans to get to know each other?" Gemini suggested, putting an ungodly amout of chocolate cake in his mouth at once.

"We still have to see the third floor of this place!" Sagittarius piped up,

"How about we explore the top floor first then we decide what to do?" Aries commented,

"Yeah, that sounds good!" Cancer agreed.

"Oh, you're already finished, Cancer?" Scorpio asked,

"Yeah, I can't eat anymore man, I'm gonna throw up oh my lord." Cancer replied,

"Same, oh my days," Pisces said,

"Was the breakfast bad?" I asked,

"No, no, it's not that, I ate all the pancakes and you expect me to eat more?" Cancer answered,

"True, true..." I mumbled,

"I thought it tasted great, Virgo," Capricorn commented,

"Ah, thank you!" I said, excited.

Everyone started finishing their plate and heading to the living room. Thankfully everyone did their dishes, leaving me to only wash mine. After that, I went to the living room as well.
