Waking up, I tip toe downstairs to make some breakfast.
I try not to make any noise that will wake Lily up, but I spoke too soon because I hear Lily running down the stairs.
"I can smell pancakes!", she nearly screams. Her eyes are scanning the pancakes before she's sits on the chair and waiting with her knife and fork in the air. I chuckle at the sight.
Silly girl.
We were eating peacefully before I hear footsteps in the kitchen. Lily gets quiet at the sight of the big figure who is standing at the door frame. His eyes are blood shot, and his hair is everywhere. I can see he's tired, but he doesn't acknowledge that.
"Hi dad." He tries to smile, but fails. He takes some coffee before going to the living room again. I sigh and ruffle my hair a bit. It's sad that dad doesn't talk to us like he used to before mom died. He used to be so talkative, but we have barley said a word to each other since she died. He speaks to Lily here and there, but as much I miss mom; I miss my daddy too.
"Lily, come on. We have to get going soon."

"Hi to the most beautiful, but the ugliest bestie ever.", Aubrey scream. Aubrey is my best friend since I can remember along with Scott. Aubrey has brown hair with blonde stripes. I personally love her hair, but she hates it. She wants to dye it light pink. I agree that will suit her personality better, but her hair is just...wow.
Scott takes an arm over my head and squeeze the poop out of me.
"Scottie, stop it.", I say, trying to catch my breath again.
"Hey, I hate being called Scottie." He let me go, and pouts. His brown eyes are glinting because of the sad face making. I roll my eyes.
Roll eyes counter: 1
"Scottie Johnson, I will never stop calling you that, and you know it."
"But it destroys my masculinity. How are girls even going to make out with me if you yell Scottie in front of everyone?" I roll my eyes once again.
Roll eyes counter: 2
Masculinity, yeah right.
"Scott, the only masculinity you have in your body is in your tongue and that's says a lot about you." Aubrey breaks out.
I can't help, but to laugh a little.
"Oh yeah. How'd you know, you have never even tasted my tongue before."
Aubrey starts to walk ahead of us.
"Gross, Johnson" She yells among all the people in the hallway. People look back at us, and are staring at us. It's nothing we're not used to.
But yeah, that's my friends. They're annoying, but I still love them like hell. I wonder why? They don't have any potential to be loved. Scott and I are walking towards the calculus class. The worst class ever. The teacher in this class, Mr. Smith is the worst. He hates me for some reason, and I return the feeling gladly.
"Please, don't argue with Mr. Smith today. I have just so much energy today", Scott tells me while showing me the amount of energy he has with his fingers.
I sigh. "I won't as long he don't make an invitation to an argument between us" I raise my shoulders. We always argue about where I should sit. For some reason he has a problem with me sitting at the first desk the most far from him.
