When the light is gone the man and Karessa seem to have ended up in a nice hotel. Karessa was really surprised and confused, "Okay, how did we get here?! Why am I here again exactly??" the man paces for a few seconds then says, "I am Castiel, no one really believes me when I say this but I'm an angel from heaven and you're here for me to protect you; we've been over this." Karessa looks at him in disbelief but goes with her gut which she feels she should trust him. "Yea, being hunted, blah blah. What am I being hunted by exactly?" Castiel shrugs, "Well, kind of everything. Monsters, angels, demons, etc. It's like they're playing a game and you're the last piece that's holding some... special information." Karessa doesn't know what to say so she remains speechless; she walks over to the nearby bed and sits on it. She looks up at Castiel and he's giving her a sad sort of look but he's hiding what most of his expression is trying to say. "What about my mom? And my life at home? And school, it's my senior year I'll be graduating in 4 months! And my little sister... what will happen to everything?" Karessa fills up with stress and anxiousness, she can hear a faint ringing in her ear. Castiel glances down then looks back at Karessa, "Your family are a threat to you and will be held against you if you are around them, you will just put them and yourself in danger; and don't worry about school you'll still graduate." Karessa closes her eyes and exhales, "Why am I being hunted?" Castiel is silent for a few seconds then turns back to Karessa, "You really don't remember anything from your past, do you Karessa?"
Oooooooo such suspense and cliffhangers and stuff. Ha hope you liked this part I'll update the next part whenever I can. -L
