Edoardo pov

Me and my oldest son, Gaviano, and I were sitting in my office discussing important things about the upcoming meeting we had in 30 minutes until my head tracker came barging into the room.

"Sir, we found them!" He said confidently, standing in front of my desk.

"This better be good, or you're dead," I said, deadly irritated, making his face swear buckets of water.

I couldn't help but ginn. It's odly satisfying to see people fear you.

"Y-yes, sir! Moments ago, my team found your ex-wife and youngest son, Juliette and Aurelio, "

Just those two names were enough to gain me and Gaviano's full attention.

When Juliette and Aurelio suddenly disappeared we thought that they were kidnapped, but that was quickly ruled out when I watched the security footage, how Juliette packed her and Aurelio's things when no one was around and lefted just like that.

"Where are they?" Gaviano asked.

"In France," the head tracker says.

"Text me where they're addressed. If that's it, you may go now," I said, waving my hand in dismissal.

The head tracker that I'm yet to know the name of bowed his head in respect to us before exiting the room.

"What's the plan, Father?" Gaviano asked, breaking the silence that started to swallow up the room.

I stood up from out of my chair."We're going to France," I said, then walking out of the office with him beside me.

Everyone in the hall bowed their heads at us as we walked past them and down the to the second floor.

"Pack some clothes that will last you for 3 days max and meet me in the foyer in 20" I said Gav before walking inside my room.

I quickly text my second in command to residual the meeting we have later to another day, then text my pilot to have the jet ready in less than an hour.

10 minutes later

When I was packing my duffel bag, I walked downstairs and waited for my son.

Seconds later descended down the stairs, and together, we walked out the mansion and into the car that was waiting for us.

"To the airport," I say Apatheticly to the driver.

7 hours later

I knocked on the door to Juliette's fairly big sized house.

"Coming!" A voice that came to be recognized as my ex-wife says through the other side of the door.

Light footsteps could be heard coming closer to the door before it opened to reveal Juliette.

She honestly hasn't changed during those last 13 years.

When her glaze landed on us, her smile vanished, as if it was never there to begin with, and her face went blank, showing no visible emotion.

"Long time no see Edoardo," She spoke out calmly.

"Indeed, it had need a long time," I agreed. "May we come in?" I asked.

She thought about it for a second before moving aside for us to come in.

I quickly scanned the foyer, half expecting someone to come at us.

I wouldn't be surprised if she knew we had been coming. Juliette has a way of always being 10 steps ahead of people. Sadly, I am one of those people.

"Im just gonna say it and skip all the unnecessary talk. I am taking Aurelio back with us, " I declared, staring in her eyes.

"You talk like Aurelio is one of your men that can order around and expect them not to have a say or any feelings about it," She stated.

For the first time, Juliette allowed an expression to show, and that was boredom. She'd usually have a bored look on her face whenever I talked to her.

Which always seemed to get me aggravated.

"What about when you took him away from us? Did you ask Aurelio if he wanted to go with you?" Gaviano counterd.

Juliette softened a bit when switching her attention to our oldest son before answering his question.

"You are right. I did not ask if he wanted to come, but we all know if I did, he would automatically say yes because he's a mama's and still is," She said truthfully.

Aurelio always did perferd his mother over me just like some of his brothers did, not that he loved me any less.

Before any of us can say anything, the door opens from behind Juliette.

Me and Gaviano looked past her to see a smaller boy version of Juliette stepping inside the house and locking the door.

He looked in our direction. "Uh.. hi?" He said nervously.

Suddenly, the door nob started twisting. "YOUR SUCH A BRAT OPEN THE DOOR!" A girl yelled from the other side.

Juliette turned around, now facing Aurelio. "Aurelio, unlock the door right now!" She said sternly with her hands on her hips.

He groaned."But she's gonna hit me," he whined out.

Juliette shrugged."That sounds a lot like a you problem, now open ths door"

Aurelio let out one last groan, but more dramatic before unlocking the door and quickly hiding behind his mother.

The door slams open, and a teenage girl comes running in and straight for Aurelio.

Where me and Gaviano are standing, we can only see the side of her face, but from what I can tell, she looks exactly like Juliette but with my hair, nose, and tan skin.

I kept getting this gut feeling that it's my daughter, Priscilla-Arielle, but my mind was saying another thing.

2 years after Priscilla was kidnapped by one of the strongest Russian gangs, who were seeking revenge at the time, sended me pictures of her pale, lifeless dead body laying the ground surrounded by a puddle of blood.

"Aurelio, you better be on good terms with jesus because you'll be seeing him very soon when I'm done with you since he'll be the one deciding whether you should be in hell or not!" The girl said before grabbing Aurelio by the ear.

"Ow, ow, owwww! Stop El, that hurts!" Aurelio yelled out in pain while trying to pry her hand off, which only resulted in his ear getting squeezed even more.

As if just starting to care, Juliette held on to the girl wrist."Claudia Arielle Lucia Mariano, let go of your brothers ear!" She said.

Mine and Gaviano faces held our usual blankness emotion, but our eyes held more than you could even imagine.
