Chapter 21

Katrina POV:
It has been months since last time I really talked to Mattheo. I have been avoiding him since I took LSD. Since then my sister and Mattheo are no longer together. They were fighting ever since the engagement was announced. Mattheo can't stand her.
The dark lord realized it was better if they don't get married. Daisy moved to Drumstrangs and I haven't seen her since she left.
I am not ready to face Theo because of everything he has put me through and I think I'm finally ready to move on.
Mattheo POV:
It has been months since I talked to Katrina and it kills me. I thought when Daisy and I ended things she would come around. It was quite the opposite she hasn't wanted to see me since.

I need to tell her about the prophecy so she can understand why I did what I did. Since my father hasn't figured out yet it's only a matter of time once he does. When he does he will kill her, and I can't let that happen.
Katrina POV:
I wake up for school and get ready to attend my first class.
" hey kat how have you been"?
" hey Silas I've been better, what about you how is your girl troubles been?"
"Don't get me started on that. Since there is a party Tonight I am hoping I'll finally get the girl of my dreams"
"Ahh Cho right"
"Ya, I just hope the others won't get mad"
"You mean Lucy right, cuz I know she likes you and I just hope you don't hurt her with your choice"
"Ya I'll be thinking about it see you later"

The rest of the day was boring. I was walking back to the common room after class and low and behold who do I see the fucking asshole.
"Hey kitty wait I need to talk to you"
" no we have done enough talking If it isn't obvious I'm trying to avoid you"
"Please I have a reason for why I did what I did just please let me explain".
I run to my room before he can catch me but I'm to late in closing my door.
"Ugh what do you want Mattheo?"
" I know I hurt you over and over again but the reason I did those things was to protect you from my father."
"Why, this sounds like bullshit to me"
"It's not I found out about a few months ago a prophecy that could take down him and it involved a power you and me possess. I thought marrying you would get you closer to me so I could protect you. When I realized it was the opposite I tired to back out of it. They only way to do that was to wed your sister."
"So your telling me you were trying to protect me by marrying my sister"?
"Essentially yes"
"Fuck you"
"Don't say that to me. I am saving your life"
"No your fucking not you are destroying it"
"I'm not"
"Yes you are can you not see that"
"No I can't see it because all I see is you. I HAVE BEEN INFATUATED WITH YOU SINCE I CAN REMEMBER! AND I DID NOT KNOW THEN BUT NOW I DO!"
"WHAT DO YOU FUCKING MEAN MATTEHO"
He backs Katrina into a wall
"I love you Katrina Malfoy"
I stood there shocked that he would say that and mean it.
"I love you Mattheo Riddle"
That was all he needed to connect his lips with hers in a heated and passionate kiss.

End of the chapter. There will be smut in the next chapter. I am trying to get creative with that since I'm not good at writing smut. I hope you guys liked this long awaited chapter. I think I might be ending it soon and creating a new one. After rereading it I don't like how confusing this story is. Let me know what you think.
