Almond's life well to put in the least words was stressful  as heck, being a detective you had alot of responbility on your shoulders.
No breaks, always on a case always trying to find out where the wanted criminals base is, he swore to protect this city with everything he has.

a certain cheerful, persistent,  loving,caring lively teacher, who worked at the citys magical institute, Professor latte finds her way into his life..

After they met they soon enough often went out on  small hangouts together weather it sould be after lattes classes in a coffee shop talking about who knows what or a small little celebration after almond finishes a diffcult case.
In other words, they grew closer by the day..

Latte noticing her freinds distress, and his burnt out mood, she offered to talk to him about it..
"Latte? What are you doing here..?" Almond asks, heavy eye bags were under his weary eyes, a coffee cup in hand, messy frizzled up hair.
"Almond!- its 3:30 am! What on earthbread are you still doing at the office!? Espresso informed me that you were here this late!" Latte says placing a hand on her hip.
"Work, latte.Work, also why did you come here this late just for some.. officer like me?" Almond says jotting down a few more things
"Well.. Your my friend almond!- Could I not care for you and check on you? You seriously need rest" Latte says sternly but her voice also had a soft hint to it as well
"Latte, im okay." Almond protested,"I dont belive that." Latte says stepping closer to him,"Well you better, Im speaking  the truth" Almond said bluntly.

Latte   Placed his beige coat on  him as she sat next to him concerned,"Almond cookie.. I know your stressed,  its obvious! You need a break, and if you ever need someone  to talk to.. well Im here for you" Latte says Almond glanced at her..

He didnt notice how much  he liked her thoughtfuness, how much he loved her kindness, how much he loved her  personality, how much he loved how she cared for him, how much he loved everything about her.
Until now, relazing how much he appricates  her, he sighed and turned towards her
"Alright, I guess ill take a break.. only for you latte" He says with a slight smile on his face

"Yes!- thank you almond!" Latte says smiling, she was now happy the person she adored so much was finally getting the rest he well overdue needed.

And so  almond walks latte back to her apartment, latte lets him stay the night and they both end up cuddiling on the couch together, a blanket above the two, both sound asleep.
