-Dude, you look like shit.

-Oh. Shut up, Quackity.

George was in the park with his friend, they had arranged to see each other the day after they settled into their new house, hoping to see him rested and excited, like the last few days, but he did look like shit. Tired and with dark circles under his eyes.

-Damn neighbor, he didn't stop banging on the wall almost all night long," he leaned his chin on the palm of his hand, letting out a yawn, barely looking at Alex with narrowed eyes, he felt he could sleep right there, but he couldn't.

-I thought you said no one lived on that floor.- He put his cell phone on the table, trying to pay attention to George, "You also said they showed you all the apartments.

They were silent for a while, each one in his world, George thinking about what to do with his "noisy" neighbor and Alex.... well, maybe he was thinking about something similar both of them.

-Maybe you should talk-

His cell phone started ringing, completely interrupting Quackity. He looked at the name on the screen, his eyes widening more in surprise- I'll be right back.

George nodded somewhat confused and then moved far enough away, answering about 8 trees away from his partner.

While he waited, he just looked around, as he didn't know the place very well, even though it was a park, it had the typical things of these places. On one side games like slides, swings, handrails, and others that he did not remember their name, of course, there were quite a few children. And near the entrance, the "exercise" area where there were a few people, some running and others using the equipment that was there.

George never liked the idea of exercising or running in places like that, and even less when there were a lot of people, he felt watched.

Then the entrance to the park opened, drawing the boy's full attention.

He was not a person who cared who entered or left the place, but maybe it was the boredom that was consuming him while he was waiting for Alex, who, maybe for that reason decided to take a look, like the gossipy old woman she could be.

The first thing he saw was his blue sweatshirt.... maybe, sweatpants and some somewhat tight black sneakers.

Maybe a necklace with a letter that she couldn't quite make out, maybe a D or an E? Maybe a C? and her face...

-Hey," George jumped a little, almost falling off the chair he was sitting in, "What were you looking at, Gogy?

-Nothing.

-Of course...-He looked him in the eyes, making him nervous- I'm just kidding, anyway, I have to go.

-Why?

-Work, they can't do anything without me," he smiled a bit arrogantly, clearly, it was a lie, George just rolled his eyes, "Do you want me to take you home?

-Why not?
