Someone was gently caressing my head. I moved a little, opened my eyes, and saw dad smiling softly at me.
"How are you feeling today, Dad?" I inquired, smiling as I rubbed my eyes and yawned a little. I was with my father in the hospital last night and fell asleep without realizing it.
"Now I'm fine. Completely fit and active. But it appears that you haven't slept in a while, my child. Please come in. Take a nap and hug your daddy." I nodded with a bright smile on my face as Dad patted his side.
I curled up beside him and hugged him, and he began patting my head in a steady rhythm. I missed hugging him and remembering our times together.
Dad's surgery went well four days ago, and he may be released today. Mom wanted to stay with me, but she needs to rest because she has high blood pressure. So I told her to rest and I stayed with him, and I'm grateful to Ms. Son for allowing me to stay as long as I wanted. She even made arrangements for us to have the best room and facilities. She spoke with my mother as if she had known her for a long time, as well as with Uncle Haru and aunt Sakura.She took the responsibilities as long as she was present and advised me to stay with my family. So, tell me, why didn't I fall for her? How can I keep myself from falling in love with her? I don't know how I'm going to let her go.
'You have doomed Mina~ You fucking started loving her.' My mind said as I mentally sighed.
'I have to keep my distance from her if I want to keep my heart safe. The further I stay away from her, the safer I will be. I have to keep in mind that she is my boss.' I was thinking and feeling my eyes getting heavier as I drifted off to sleep.

I walked into the hospital after parking my car in the parking lot. The doctor said he'd be discharged in a week, so I called her mom this morning to see if they were still in the hospital. I wanted to surprise Mina with a surprise visit, and I was especially excited to see her face. After a few hectic days at work, I finally found some time to relax and come here today.
