London has always been a very quite city, but that day of spring everything changed. It was the 24th of March of 1848 and it was a really hot day considering the last week's weather. Anyway around London you could feel this very relaxing feeling that people were showing from their humor. At a certain point a shout broke the silence, that sound seemed like if something horrible and unimaginable happened. The sound was coming from a house in the suburbs of London. That was the house of the Wilson family. When the police arrived, the scene of the crime was the following: a young lady on the floor with a pillow close to her head. In the other room what seemed to be her father sleeping on an old sofa. When the policemen asked to the housekeeper what happened that morning. Ms.Brown, a lady of a certain age which was mostly helping the old father with his everyday life, explain the story from the beginning:

"I have been working for the Wilson family for about 4 years, they have always been a weird family. The father John Wilson was a former notary which was leaving here, in this old house, with his wife Jane and his daughter Kate. Unfortunately about 2 years ago Jane decided to commit suicide, in that period she was suffering of a really hard depression, that episode created a huge hole in John's heart."

Then Ms.Brown kept on explaining what happened that Spring Morning, as always she woke up around 7 o'clock. Around 9 o'clock she arrived to the family's house, she climbed the stairs and arrived to the enormous entrance that was making that house so unique. When she opened the door she found Mr.Wilson sleeping on his sofa, what she found weird was that at first she saw that he wasn't sleeping with the pillow that he was using so often. In that moment that didn't really look like an important detail considering the fact that the poor Mr.Wilson got crazy after the death of his lovely wife. As always before starting her work the woman was often taking some coffee, but that day it was done, for this reason she decided to go and check inside the pantry. Unfortunately the content wasn't really as excepted, when she first opened the knob of the door, something that seemed like a person felt on her with an incredible violence. When she realized that was Kate her reaction to that was an enormous shout, after that something extremely soft felt on her head, it was the blue pillow that Mr.Wilson was using so often.

After that the policemen decided to investigate more about Kate.

Kate was a 18 year old lady who was working in a little shop under her house. She was a seamstress and that work made her really happy, because she wanted to follow the origin of her deceased mother. She had a boyfriend his name was Fred Morris nothing less than the son of the wealthy banker. The family Morris is one of the most powerful of the whole England, its leader was Richard Morris an old German General that became rich because of the gasoline found in the desert during a mission. Anyway he had two sons: Fred and Harry Morris. Ms.Wilson was promised to the young boy and that news create disarray in London.

That same day when I arrived at work I saw the captain coming to me smiling and saying "Sam you got a new case", my first reaction to that was "I hope it is not going to be again about those old ladies loosing their purses". "No...no" he replied, " This case is special!, It is a murder" That same morning I went to my friend David who was one of the policemen called by Ms.Brown, I ask him about the murder and its own opinion. This was what he was able to tell me : "We are still waiting for the results from the morgue, but it seems as if the young lady have been suffocated with a pillow" Said him, pointing a blue pillow that was covered with what seemed to me like saliva. Then I said "From what I can see the girl tried to defend herself, without succeeding". Then I asked him who was the guilty of that horrible homicide. "What I figure out" said David "Is that the father was mental unstable he wasn't taking the right size of medicine" then he concluded "Probably he killed his daughter without even realizing that". At the end of that day I was really confused about what did really happened that morning, the only thing I knew was that I would have reflected about it better the following morning. That is why I went to bed thinking about the poor Kate.
