This was a mistake.
That was your first thought as you looked around the loud and colorful building. A screaming child ran past you, which was quickly followed by more screaming children running after them. You took a deep breath and focused your eyes on a man who was standing next to a large metal door and wearing a Fazbear Entertainment security uniform. Nervously, you made your way over to him, and he made eye contact with you as you approached. Once you had reached him, he let out a sigh and began to tiredly go through what was likely a company given script.
"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's, a place where fantasy and fun come to life. Is there anything I could help you with?" He asked, giving you the most tired of looks. He looked like he'd been here for hours, but you knew that he'd probably only been here for three at best, given the time.
"Hi, I'm [Y/N]," you said, introducing yourself to him. "I uh… Just got hired and I'm not too sure where to go?"
For a few moments, he just looked at you, blinking slowly as he tried to process what you'd just said. After about a minute of silence from him, he finally spoke.
"... I'm not the one you'd want to speak to about that..."
"Okayyy… Who would I speak to about that?" You asked, hoping that you wouldn't get reprimanded or anything like that for being 'late,' even if you really weren't. Wasn't your fault this place was so confusing.
"The guy you're looking for is Henry," the man answered. "He's kinda hard to miss. Just look for the guy in the yellow flannel. He kinda looks like white Jesus… Minus the beard and add some big, dorky-looking glasses. If you still have trouble finding him, head to the office where you got interviewed. He or Afton should be in there, and they'll be able to get you sorted out."
You nodded and thanked him, then walked off, taking note of how empty and joyless he'd come off as.
I shouldn't be surprised. I'll probably start acting the same way after working here long enough…
You walked around the building for a moment, looking around some more in hopes to locate Henry, though you quickly gave up when you realized what a frustrating task that would be. The building was way too crowded with customers, and you really didn't want to look at every single one of them to figure out which one was supposed to be the man you were looking for, so you quickly turned around and started to make your way to the office.
Man, I hope this is the right way. It's so crowded and noisy in here now. It feels like a completely different building.
Making your way past some arguing children and through huddles of gossiping teenagers, you finally found the hallway where you'd remembered the office you'd been interviewed in being located, and started to quickly make your way down it. Once you reached the door, you gave it a hesitant knock.
"Come on in!" A voice called from inside.
You took a deep breath and opened the door as you entered the room. The office chair spun around to face you and a man who somewhat matched the description you'd been given earlier greeted you.
"Ah, hello! Is there something I might be able to help you with?" He asked, giving you a warm smile.
"H-Hi… I'm assuming you're Henry?" You asked.
"Yeah, that would be me! And you are?"
"I'm [Y/N]. I applied to the position you had open and today I'm supposed to start?"
"Oh, [Y/N]!" Henry said, clapping his hands together. "I've been expecting you! Come on in and take a seat, there's some things I needed to talk to you about."
