The machines beeped quicker as the heartbeat got faster, the slow tics of the seconds coming from the clock on the white wall got silenced by the stronger noise.
The boy got up from his seat as his eyes widened at the sudden noise, he ran to press the red button in order to call the doctors for the emergency.
Just a couple of seconds before he was sleeping, his head laying next to the patient, his hand gripping on hers.
His sleep was disturbed and for a moment he thought that maybe the beeping was part of his nightmare, soo he realized it wasn't like that.
Something was actually happening.
Soon after he pressed the button, the door was slammed opened and the nurses quickly came in asking him to leave the room.
Jungkook sat on one of the chairs in front of the door and took his head in his hands, his fingers gripped at the roots of his hair and he pulled it forcefully as tears started streaming down his cheeks.
He didn't know what was happening, how could he know, he knew nothing about medicine and those who did, kick him out instead of saying anything.
He knew he couldn't blame them tho, he wasn't mad because they told him to leave, he wasn't mad at all...
He was just feeling powerless...
Ignorant...
And this ignorance on the topic and the expression on the nurses' face brought only dark thoughts to his mind, he couldn't think of anything good those accelerated beeps could mean.
A petite woman sat next to him and surrounded his shoulders with her arm

she tried to reassure her son-in-law as the boy sobbed on her chest
Maybe her reassurance would be more believable if only she believed her own words.

Jungkook chocked out between his hiccups, his shoulders shook as he had difficulty breathing

She said with calm voice, one of them needed to keep calm... at least apparently, and Jungkook wasn't able to be the one.
The boy wasn't able to say how much time more he spent crying before the door opened again.
The doctor, who was taking care of the Jeon since the start, and a nurse came out of the room.
Jungkook didn't even notice when the doctor joined the nurses inside.
The two got up and walked towards the doctor as the man smiled

He announced and the woman next to him finally let go of her self control breaking into tears.
Jungkook released a sigh of relief, his lips curved upwards in a smile
<you can go to see her but please be careful. We don't know what consequences the coma has on her>
the doctor warned and the boy didn't wait any longer just stormed into the room.
After seven months of silence he needed to finally hear his wife talk again and say she was fine... say that everything was fine.
