We don't talk much at school. Though there are plenty of moments where I catch her staring at me. I usually glare at her while she grins at me, then she goes back talking with her friends. I honestly don't know what's running in her mind. She ticks me off in many possible ways, but I tolerate her. And since we live next to each other, we end up going to school together, as well as going back home.
Many weeks then has passed. Today was weekend. I woke up still tired and grouchy. It was a bright Saturday morning, the weather was well, the atmosphere was light, and overall it was a great time to be out.
I walked to the kitchen still a bit drowsy. I made myself coffee and started heating the cold leftovers from the fridge. After eating, I was playing around with my phone occupying myself but then after a while, I got bored with it. Maybe I need to go out of the house for a while, do productive things. I then decided to just walk around town for a while. So I changed my clothes and went out.
Going out of the door, I saw Nene leaving her apartment too. "Ah, Shou-kun!" she uttered looking a bit confused. I just stared at her for a while since I'm too dead beat too even greet her so it became silent for a bit second. She broke the silence and said "You're going somewhere?" I just nodded and she asked questions again. "Where are you going? Is it far from here? Or near?" She was bubbly and hyper as usual.
"Nowhere in particular, I'm just taking a walk to calm down." I'm glad I'm tolerant enough to not snap at her. I always get bothered at how energetic she is, but for some reasons I find it a bit amusing. "Ah! Will you go with me to somewhere then? It'll be fun I promise!" she said excitedly.
"Hm, I guess I will." I accepted her little request, I have nothing to do anyways. "Yay! Let's go then!" she grabbed my hand my dragged to me where we were going.
She hauled me to a café that was 15 minutes away from home. "So this is your idea fun?" I said to her, more of like a statement than a question. "Hey, eating is fun you know." she responded with annoyance. I only ordered cup of coffee since I wasn't really hungry, I know that I already drank some earlier in the morning but another cup wouldn't harm me. Nene ordered two slices of mille crepe for herself. You could really tell that she likes eating, specifically sweets. Who eats that much crepe anyways?
"Are you sure you don't want some?" she asked me. "I don't have an appetite right now, so I'm pretty sure I don't want some." I responded collectedly. She pouted then took a bite of her crepe. I stared outside the window of the café looking at the trees and observing what was outside while drinking my coffee. "Shou-kun look at this" Nene called out to me, so I looked and said "What is i-" She shoved a spoonful layer of crepe right in my mouth, then laughed at me. I had cream all over my lips which I then wiped off.
"What is your problem?" I said while chewing. She didn't reply and kept laughing. Her mouth was widely opened as she laughed, so I took the chance to pick up the spoon and shoved some of the crepe in her mouth too. I can't help but grin at her. She stopped laughing and glared at me but then smiled and said "See? I told you eating is fun."
