New York City. Even at night it bustled with life. People walking around, cars driving, some too fast, some too slow, others at the right speed limit.

Everything was different at night. Everything lit up. Unfortunately, a downside was not being able to see the stars well, but other than that it was beautiful.

    At least to some.

Jisung Han, had just recently moved with his best friends from a small town a little further south. He wasn't too big on well the big city. He preferred small and quiet.

However, his friend as annoying as they might be, made a valid point of there where some not a lot, but some more job opportunities in New York.

So, the three of them decided to get a small two bedroom apartment which cost way more than it was actually worth in Jisungs sound opinion.

The three decided to get some crappy jobs as well to pay for the overpriced two bedroom, until they could each get their dream jobs.

Jisungs Dream job? Being a reporter. He loved the thought of it. He met all the requirements to be one, he had recommendations up the wahzoo it also helped that he went to a prestigious high school and college.

All he had to do was send out resumes.

    Which he had done, thankfully.

His two best friends: Seungmin and Felix, both had their own aspirations. Seungmin wanting to become a doctor. Felix wanting to become a dance instructor/owner of a dance studio.

"How many papers have accepted you?" Felix questioned putting more popcorn in his mouth.

"Three so far, Journal, herald, and Post, but I really want to work at the times. I mean I have been talking about it since we were little. They said to take as much time as I need and I suppose if I don't hear from the times by next week, I'll pick from the ones that accepted." Jisung said.

"I'd go with The Wall Street Journal." Seungmin chimed in, taking a sip of his wine.

"That is a lot of business stuff. I don't know if I am cut out for that." Jisung stated.

"You're cut out for all of it." Felix said.

   "Debatable." Jisung muttered.

    Felix lightly kicked Jisungs' leg.

"Oh, shush. You'll do well. I say you give the times until Saturday and if they don't contact you by then, you go with one of the many other papers that want you." Felix stated.

   Jisung nodded.

"Okay, I am heading to bed. I have an early day tomorrow. Don't drink all the wine please." Seungmin said heading to his and Felixs' room. They decided to give Jisung his own room considering he paid most of the rent and a few other things.

   "Night." The two said.

Felix stretched with a small groan.

"Don't dwell on it too much babe. I am going to turn in as well I have yet another interview." Felix stated, getting up.

"I won't, I promise. Night lix." Jisung said.

Felix nodded and left to his room.

Jisung let out a small sigh, thinking of all the possibilities as he flipped through the channels finally landing on the news or well gossip channel

Reading the head line Jisung rolled his eyes.

Lover or hook-up? Could the famous CEO finally be opening his heart up?

Clicking the power button, Jisung cleaned up the mess making sure to put the wine in the fridge and tossed the seeds of the popcorn away.

Deciding it was too late to vacuum, the brunet went straight to his room and flopped on the bed. Hoping that at some point the hustle and bustle outside would go away. Also, hopeful the tomorrow would be better than today.
