The Forsaken Love

Chaprer 1

My life was chosen by the council members fear. Not by me not by my family who would have probably killed me already. But thing is I don't ask for this power it was given to me. It's not my fault that people fear my power or just me in general.

"Where are you Phoenix?!" My mother calls out from the kitchen. "I'm in my room calm down jeezz!" I yell down to her she always afraid that I'm not here its not like I can leave when I feel like it. They locked me in here for crying out loud WITH MAGIC I might add. I've been here for about 12 years now not that I'm counting. I make my way down the stairs just like every other day to the kitchen. When I walk in my mother walks out the door before I could ask about Ruby.

I go into the kitchen and see what I have for lunch today. Chicken, potatoes and greens yahoo, I go to the table and eat.

After that I turn the music on and dance. I love to dance I just never did it with another person before. As I move to the music use my air magic and start to float. I turn in circles and feel the wind in my hair. It's the close thing that I get to outside that and my fire magic. I set myself back on the ground and go upstairs to take nap.

"Phoenix where are you?!" I run through the woods look for the source of the voice. "I need to tell you something. Someone's going to be killed and you will be blamed. You need to run or you will be kill." I run into a clearing to see my sisters body laying there is blood pooling around her. I went my knees and cried which what seemed to be for hours. I get up and touch her face closing her eyes and looking for something to put her into peace a flower. I picked it up and a voice spoke with in my mind. "This will happen tomorrow night if and only if you get out of that house and come to me." "But I have no idea where you are looking, i said back to him. "You will." "Who are you?" "You'll find out soon enough. " Then the dream was over.

I woke up screaming bloody muder. Ruby came in ask what was wrong. When she get I thought to myself. "Yeah yeah I'm fine I say back putting my hand over my face. "
"Did you have a nightmare? " She asked me in a teasing voice.
"No."
"Ok whatever you say." As she walks away I throw a pillow at her.
"Hey!" She yelled as she threw it back at me.
I love my sister such because she doesn't treat me like a monster. I put the blanket back over my head and go back to sleep.
"Phoenix get your ass down her now before I kick your ass!" She yelled at me.
"Fine fine I'm getting up!" I yell back.
